The hands are very luminescent in the dark and the watch is water resistant. I personally avoid getting any of my watches near water or water vapor.The REWARD watch comes in a black box that is suitable for gift giving or as a Reward to and employee for years of service. The box holds a tool that can remove links if you need to make the band shorter and a manual. The watch arrived already at the perfect size to fit my larger wrist and link removal was not necessary.I love the contrast of the Black Stainless Steel band and the Copper like color surrounding the Dial Face, it is called Rose Black and is very elegant and definitely looks like a very high end luxury watch.The quartz movement provides smooth hand movement and high accuracy of time keeping.
