Used to pay for a Service Engineer now we replace the gasket ourselves
My title says everything. We used to pay £200+ for a Rational accredited service engineer to replace the perished gasket. I now do it myself. Its easy as. A Few things to remember, thoroughly clean the area once you have removed the old gasket. Spray plenty of water when installing the new one as the rubber then pushes in really easy. Finally make sure the pin prick sized weep hole is on the bottom. Apart from that enjoy and save some wedge.

Le vrai joint rational made in Germany, livraison impeccable ! Travaillant souvent à 300 degrés, j’en consomme un par an. Seul vrai problème le prix ! Acheté une première fois en 2020 à 64€, puis en 2021 à 79€, il est maintenant a plus de 100€ TTC....
