The Jealous Wife : A psychological thriller with a nerve-shredding ending

I love this author! Great psychological book writer !! I absolutely marathon read his books ,highly recommended!!! I'm now going for the next book

Absolutely one of the best this year! I wasn’t able to put the book down. Full of twists and turns -it kept me turning the page until the end -One of the best psych thrillers of the year so far and I can’t wait to read more from this author!Why did I rate 4 stars vs 5? I rate very few books at 5 stars, in my opinion the rating system is overblown and although I absolutely loved this book - 5 star reviews are saved for books that I’ll remember and read over and over. Pillars of the Earth, Paul Pilkington’s first series , Homefront by Kristin Hannah to name a few.

The story started right in from the get-go. Definitely keeps you reading to see what they do next.You will be major surprised at the last part of the story.

I liked the plot but it took forever to read! Long chapters with long paragraphs and few dialogues. Too repetitive too. The ending kinda predicable and inconclusive.

Good book. Just when I thought I figured it out, it took a twist. If you like psychological thrillers, read this.

Loved this book, other than all the characters were a bit off. My first by this author and definitely not my last. Enjoyed this fast paced thriller.

I usually pick a favorite character in a book I'm reading. In this book, however, I did not. None of the characters was very likeable. The story was interesting and the plot well contrived. I'm glad the right person was caught in the end.

I have all of James Caine’s novels. His writing style and topics keep you so engrossed it’s impossible to put the book down. Thank god I’m retired because I wouldn’t make it in to work after reading through the twilight hours! I highly recommend this author! Keep them coming James, I’m a fan for life! Happy reading 😊 .

I bought this a while ago but it has been in my kindle and I kept choosing other books over it. What a mistake! This is a fabulously entertaining story, written in a way that kept my interest from beginning to end. I was quite surprised it was written by a man, as the jealous thoughts running through the wife's head are very believable. Also giving the perspective of the neighbour, this reads so easily. There are more than a few twists thrown in, and the ending is wrapped up nicely. I will definitely read more by this author

Another suspenseful, psychological, interesting story with an unusual twist. My guess of who had killed Beth was a red-herring. The book was full of twists and turns. The ending was most unexpected and I loved it.

SUCH a page turner. could not put it down, loved the way this author writes, very easy to follow, definitely going to pick up another book by this author.
