Very fast plane
This little plane was awesome! This is an intermediate plane. It has 3 flight modes and on the first one, you can pretty much take your hands off and let the plane fly itself! The propellers pop off when you crash which prevents the propellers from breaking every crash. I would recommend buying a pack of 6 propellers in case the others get lost. Very great beginner plane!! I bought this plane twice because I liked it so much! I now have 3 planes from Volentex and am very happy with their performance!

Have fun
It’s a mustang and in the real world these things are a bear to fly and land ? But it has some help with the gyro that makes it a little bit tamer! How ever it’s still a mustang so take it easy and remember to keep the speed up and when landing try to put that nose down a little more then you usually would . No user manual, garbage charger, GREAT plane
Model did not come with a user manual, which isn’t necessarily an issue if you’ve flown other 4-channel warbirds from VolantexRC since the transmitters and basic operations are the same, except for a few new audible beeps and warnings not heard on the non-brushless motor variants. Also, the USB battery charger that comes with the model is garbage; charged the batteries upon receiving the model, and after using them flying this AMAZING PLANE, the charger no longer works, so now I can’t fly again until I find another suitable, higher quality charger. All that said, the actual model is gorgeous! It flies wonderfully, stability is rock solid in beginner mode, and intermediate allows some pretty nice aerobatics without getting yourself into too much trouble. Expert mode is profoundly more difficult; get some altitude before switching to that level, but you can easily switch back to beginner mid-flight to regain control. Fantastic plane, just lacking the user manual and has a garbage battery charger.

Flies well in all spaces. Extremely durable. Buy a lot of props if you are a beginner.
I flew it in a local park in 15 mph wind and rain according to the weather forecast. It flew well even with the breeze. Gyro works well. As a beginner, I crashed it 75% of the time. Almost no damage except for the paint getting scraped. Extremely durable. Good range, flew for 15 minutes before I charged the battery in 40 minutes. Came with everything I needed, easy to fly and prepare to fly. Extremely cheap for an RC plane, but flies like it is $300. I broke a lot of props, but there are replacements. It would be really cool if they could somehow make an fpv add on. When I tried the advanced mode, it was really maneuverable but tricky to fly (expectedly). The manual was also detailed and I used it for the preflight checks and also finding out where to fly.

defective
had trouble linking to controller. 1st flight, the plane flew 3 miles into a suburban neighborhood.we somehow found it. 2nd flight, we checked range, which was around 200 ft. Plane constantly decoupled from controller. We are retuning this. For parents like me, buying this for your kid, the P51 is a very hard plane to fly, ie constant crashing and a short life expectancy. The wings and speed, along with very sensitive vertical flaps, are the reason. You can buy a similar plane that is slightly smaller, for around 50% less in cost. I would recommend this. Lastly, put your name on your plane. These things do fly away and it is terrible seeing your investment sail into the horizon.
