Here's one item no one's tells you to replace when you purchase a new home. I had someone else to install for me. Remember to check and clean your outside dryer vent as well.

The dryer vent is fairly standard thin material, but I really liked the quick connector set up. That makes it really easy and a lot more convenient to be able to regularly unfasten it and clean out the vent, which should be done fairly regularly.

I really like the quick connector, which allows for quick and easy disconnect/re-connect when I perform routine cleanouts of my dryer vent. Cleanouts are essential to prevent build-up of lint in the hose and the pipe that leads to the outside. Without routine cleanouts, you run the risk of a fire and are likely paying more per load to dry due to the loss of efficiency if there is even a minor blockage. Overall, I'm happy with this quick-connect dryer vent connector kit and I'm glad I got it.

This is a great kit for changing out your dryer vent. My old dryer vent metal hose was literally falling apart and full of holes (it was super old). Someone had taped up some of the holes but there were more. This kit is the perfect way to replace my vent. It comes with everything you need. I don't need to install the wall plate, but if you do, it's very easy. They give you instructions and screws. This new hose is perfect and will last a long time. Even I can do it, just need a phillips head screwdriver to tighten/loosen the connector.

The wall plate made it much easier to connect the hose to my outside vent. I always struggle to get the hose on the round cylinder and then clamped down that leads to the outside -- this made it so much easier. (No major frustrations this time!)

Simple Dryer vent. Fits well on my dryer and it came with all needed to get job done. Put the one end to the dryer and other end to the whole in my floor going into my crawls space. Gives me a piece the other end can go ii to so I can make a secure fit around that hole and a band that I can tighten down so it won’t come out. Works well for my needs

I will update this review as soon as I put this dryer vent on the dryer in two weeks when we move to the new home. The parts are all included and the aluminum is sturdy.
