Incredible piece of kit
Didn't expect much because of the price. It was only a kids present for Christmas which I imaged would get abandoned. But I'll admit as a 32 year old mum I'm obsessed. I'm looking at everything, the quality is fantastic. Super clear screen. I even checked my nails after washing and it can pick up things you can see and I'm disgusted ill never bite my nails again. Everything has been under this microscope and I'm genuinely shocked at what things look like up close. It's amazing. Great gift for kids (and adults) who may find these things fascinating. Image is clearer in real life, taking a photo of a screen is difficult. For £30 it's mindblowing. Must buy!

Great value beginner microscope
Microscope is fantastic value for money and easy to set up. Perfect for my 8-year-old.Fantastic customer service too. My microscope stopped connecting to my PC camera after over a year of use, and after helping me troubleshoot without success the seller just sent me a new one.

Amazing for the price
We bought this for our son who loves nature. He’s looked at leaves, bark and lichen under the microscope and the amount he has been able to zoom in is incredible, with amazing clarity! I would definitely buy this for someone else.

Fantastic for the price
Brought this to check some coins and jewelry that had been passed on to me.Powerful clear image and easy to use.My hands were left free while I looked things up.Highly recommend at this price.

Can’t view the whole of the coin.
If you want to see the whole of the coin this is not for you. It is good for zooming in on detail. The booklet with details needs to be accessible in pdf format on line as it is too small to read in physical form. I wanted to be able to capture the whole of the coin and then the details but it is impossible to do using the item purchased. It appears to be well built. Maybe if it came with longer stem it would be able to see the whole of the coin.

My father in law is in his late 80's and collects old coins and tokens. Got this for his Christmas present and he was so pleased. It means he can see great detail and doesnt have to faff around with a normal microscope and glasses and can take pictures with it and videos.

Poor quality magnifier with annoying reflections from the LED light.
MICROSCOPE. ITS NOT REALLY A MICROSCOPE!! This magnifier has a magnification of around 10-15X, far short of the 1000X magnification claimed in the advertising. The product is flimsy and the bright LED lights arpu d the lens are impossible to work with. Unfortunately the unit refuses to come apart after assembly without using breaking force. The USB charging lead refuses to be detached from the magnifier. I was not expecting much for the money, it's more of a child's toy. Sorry Amazon!
