The epoxy used to glue this thing together is SO toxic. I aired it out outside for 2 weeks. I checked it every few days by putting the lid back on and then removing it a while later and taking a whiff, and every time, It gave me an instant headache/dizziness. The fumes are so strong and toxic...no way we would put food in this. So sad because we loved how it looked, and wanted to use it as a bread box to display all our homemade artisan loaves.

I love this item. Very versatile. I can use it as a chacuterie for cheese and crackers etc. or baked goods which I mainly use it for. Light weight, the top fits snuggly but not tight. Perfect for me. Great product.

Do not buy, very cheap quality I ordered the first received it broken, they sent a replacement and still broken! It’s cheap plastic base. It’s not worth the money!
