Buddy loves it!
Our dog ‘asks’ for his food & cleans his bowl! It’s nutritionally sound for him is a great plus

If switching to a new brand of food incorporate it in small amounts with old brand until tolerable.
I love that it is small morsels and it truly will keep your fur baby fit and trim, just as long as you have a feeding schedule and not leaving the bowl down all day. It could definitely be 100% better with moist morsels mixed in. Our little man is 9 years old now and he has quite a bit of energy since we changed him to this food. Now we take him out to the park on the trails and he don't even need a break from walking. Because we mix in fresh food to give Sage moisture this is why I gave it 4 star's.

Decently priced low-fat dog food, good for senior dogs
It is very difficult to find low fat dog food that doesn't require a subscription or costs 2-3 times more. This was one of the very few I found. Eukanuba is a long time favorite for breeders, although I wish ingredients were better. But with a lack of options and reading so many different ingredients, this one seemed like a good candidate. Using for an 11 year old dog with slight cholesterol increase (breed is predisposed to high cholesterol), hoping in a few months bloodwork shows improvement. Using supplements in addition to this food.

Sometimes it hard to find this brand available in stores, but my Aussie shep loves it and he’s real active. Great brand

A New Substitute?
My Sheltie was previously on the Diet brand of Eukunuba. They seem to have re-packaged and re-named the product. My dog doesn't seem to mind, so the flavor and scent must be the same. I find it amusing that you ask me to rate the flavor and the scent...how would I do that? Sorry, I'm not taste-testing it!
