I am using this Sprinkle & Sweep litter scoop in addition to the Pidan Tofu litter I recently purchased. It works very very well! The weight of the product is not difficult to handle at all and its size/shape is actually easier to handle than some other small litter scoops. The sifting works wonderfully, and I haven't had any issues with losing small pieces at all. If I were using a different kind of litter, I cannot say how well it would handle things like clay litter that has a habit of easily breaking apart and being more of a mess to scrap off the bottom of a litter pan but for my pellets it is honestly a life saver and makes the job so much easier. And if I were using this with clay litter it is the kind of sturdy scoop I would want to be using for harder litter clumps so I would at least give it a try there too. Overall, I really enjoy it. It works perfectly. it's made of metal and wood so I'm not guilty about contributing to plastic scoops or litter products in landfills. It is sturdy and well made so it has the sustainability I was looking for. It is very large and lightweight, so cleaning is easy. And the holder is very convenient, although I wish the holder was not plastic because I dislike plastic waste, but I foresee this lasting a very long time. It would be nice to see the company switch to making metal scoop holders in the future.

Our oldest cat has developed kidney issues and now refuses to use that Cat Genie which made life easy for the last 14 years. She also does not want to use the boxes for our other two cats who are happy to use the same feed store bedding pellets I use for the horse which is nice and light and does not produce the big clumps that challenge my bad arm. So back to regular litter for the old cat. The plastic scoops can be very hard to push below clumped litter and certain brands of litter cling on the scoop. So I started looking for a metal one. This one works great. The litter which is not clumped sifts easily through the times and it gets under the clumps more easily as well. Also clumped bits do not cling to it the way they do to the plastic scoops. It is much easier to clean the box and does not stress my arm so much. Worth every penny.

I really really really like this kind of scooper. It sifts so fast compared to the plastic ones I've used before. With this scooper, you only have to scoop once and just barely sift any loose litter. I have a kitten and her poops and pee balls are small; this scooper still scoops it up no problem. I have an XL litter box, and this scooper saves me so much time when scooping. The quality is well made and durable, not heavy at all. Scooping litter boxes might seem like a tedious chore but with this scooper, I'm done in under 1 minute.

As the owner of a large Maine Coon and a smaller rescue kitty, I deal with a very large litter box setup — in fact, I use an industrial-sized bin to give my cats plenty of space. Using tofu litter, I found that the litter falls right through the scooper naturally without any need for shaking. This is a huge bonus because it helps keep clumps intact, reducing the chances of small pieces breaking off and making cleanup a lot faster and cleaner. The size of the scoop is another major plus — it covers a lot of surface area, allowing me to clean the entire box in half the time compared to smaller scoopers. And even though it's larger, it still works perfectly with a Litter Genie, making disposal just as easy. Cleaning the scooper itself is simple, and the included holder is a great bonus, helping keep everything organized and sanitary. For comparison, I previously tried the Lady N - Infinity Cat Litter Scoop ($9.99) but returned it because it required a lot of shaking, causing clumps to break apart, and the hollowed-out handle trapped litter. I also tested the Ownpets Iron Metal Cat Litter Scoop, which had different sized holes on each end and felt awkward to use — plus, despite the "non-stick" claim, the front grid was a nightmare to clean. After those disappointments, I’m thrilled to have found a scooper that truly handles the job without gimmicks. If you're dealing with a large litter box, multiple cats, or just want something that works efficiently and cleanly, this scooper is absolutely worth the money.

I would say 4.5 stars! When my cats had giardia and I tossed EVERYTHING out; my husband was very distressed “the best scooper” was going in the bin. So I had to order another because it is that great! It makes scooping very fast in our XL stainless steel boxes and it’s easy to clean with Lysol wipes. I like that it’s a neutral color, sturdy and easy to use. The ONLY thing I personally was not super thrilled about was smaller bits do fall through and it doesn’t catch everything I’d like it to. So it doesn’t feel like I’m cleaning the litter as well as I could.

I've used it once and holy crap what a difference!!! This is a sturdy scooper that glides through the litter and removes waste. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this scooper is worthy. If you're on the fence or you feel like 20 bucks is too much, I really feel you'll enjoy your purchase. It's worth every penny. Changes a difficult task into a quick and easy one. Great scooper.

Having now used this for a couple of months since purchase here are our insights...it seems to be a quality item but only time will tell. I'm hoping it is stainless steel especially for the extreme price. It's advertised as having a beech wood handle but the two that we received don't have handles that look like the photos. Perhaps a different wood with loads of lacquer?? The other reasons for the 4 stars is that although the gaps between the rods make for quicker clean up, they also result in the very small debris slipping through and then having to be individually removed. Not what we were expecting. It would have been helpful if a few of the rods were closer together at the edges for example then the smallest bits can still be collected. The storage base is very useful too. Overall, it seems like a quality item so far so based on the early days of use, we would still recommend.
