The Man Who Leapt Through Film: The Art of Mamoru

Ever since I decided to buy and watch Summer Wars on a friend's recommendation, I have been a fan of Hosoda. His movies are some of the best films of all time, with amazing wonderful characters and locations. I would even put him above The great Miyazaki. This book tells of his early work and his movies. Each page is brimmed with story and art work from stills to storyboards on the movie on topic. It is a must for every Hosoda fan as it is a great page turner and a beautiful read like the movies it is showcase

The book is much bigger than I expected, which is great since a good part of it is art and images, but it also includes a lot of interesting information in text form and covers the works by Mamoru Hosoda until now including Belle, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, Mirai and The Boy and the Beast... really worth it

Artbook bellissimo, se siete fan di Mamoru Hosoda consigliatissimo,il problema con le spedizioni di Amazon è che i corrieri alle volte maltrattano il pacco, infatti è arrivato aperto e con gli angoli tutti rovinati.

Really love this book! It covers and explains a lot from 6 of the movies Mamoru Hosoda has been a part of. It has so much information and sketches that are amazing, if you are interested in art or just love the movies. The book arrived quick and great condition!
