I bought this mini scale to weigh the wax for my candles and it works great. It’s accurate, easy to use, and measures even small amounts without any problem. I love that it’s compact and doesn’t take up much space on my work table. Very practical for candle making.

I bought this small multi-use scale to weigh my home roasted coffee beans to assure consistency when pulling shots of espresso. The scale arrived securely packaged within its own storage box which doubles as a weighing tray (if you so desire). Yes, it's lightweight and yes it's small but those truths don't make it a bad product. I believe that understanding how to use it properly would change many of the negative reviews on this product to positive ones. The tare button is very useful in pre weighing your measuring vessel so that its weight is completely removed from the process. Consistency is King when using a scale like this and item placement matters. CENTERING your weighing vessel before you press the tare button is important for accuracy. Once the vessel has been tarred, add the product or item(s) you are weighing and the weight of that product and only that products weight will be displayed. Simple! It is up to you to set the scale to the correct type of measurement you are looking for i.e. grams, ounces, pounds etc... Placing a smaller measuring vessel such as a small plastic cup in the same relative area of the tray each time helps to assure accuracy. I, for example use a small plastic cup which I know weighs 8 grams to weigh my coffee beans in. With a scale like this I can weigh the beans to the higher side of a gram. So, if I want 19.8 grams instead of 19 to account for slight variations in my grind, I can simply add single beans until 19.8 is achieved. There are many features packed into this little wonder and rechargeability is one of them. None of the other scales I have used over the years had this feature so I always kept spares for that guaranteed moment when "LO BATT" would assault my eyeballs. Not so with this scale and that is a Godsend... Look, if you are a brute around delicate digital electronic items get yourself an old fashioned spring scale and "have at it". Conversely, treat this scale with a modicum of care and respect and it should do everything you expect and more for years to come. I'll admit, I have not had this scale for long so if in fact I do have issues with it I will update in the future. For now, with the features, adjustability, small footprint, rechargeability, low price and nice extras like the storage box that doubles as weighing trays...it's five stars all the way from me.

Scale came packaged to keep product from being damaged during shipping. This is a great little scale for food portions. Pros: Compact, accurate, and has a cover so the scale stays clean when being used. Cons: Too small for containers or larger items to be weighed. It is good for most all food prep unless you are cooking in bulk. Really didn't need the instructions that came with it as it is easy to use. Would recommend.

I wish I would have looked at how small this is before I bought it because it is about the size of my palm. I'm not going to knock them on my mistake though - just a cautionary tale! It seems to have accurate weights and I am glad that I can cycle through different units depending on what I am measuring. The plastic covers make it easy to wipe off after each use. Because of how small it is, it is really easy to find a storage spot for this scale so I will give them that.

I still cannot calibrate the weight function. I thought oh eventually it will work. But nope… and came back to use it again, still broken… I waited 3 months too long to return it. Maybe this one’s just a lemon. But I would def Try a different brand

A 3 kg by 0.1 gm scale for this price is nuts. The fact that it is rechargeable is even crazier. I use scales to weigh everything while cooking, feeding the dog and making coffee. This scale out-of-the-box was a fraction of a gram off at 500 gms and 1 kg. The simple one-page instructions tell you how to calibrate the scale. (You will need a known good 50 gm calibration weight.) After calibration the scale was accurate at 10, 200, 500 and 1000 grams to the tenth of a gram. Unbelievable. Update: Something I discovered in using the calibration feature. To calibrate, you turn on the scale and press and hold the "M" button until a weight appears (50 grams). If you press the "M" button again, you will get other options for your calibration weight all the way up to 3000 gms. After selecting the weight you want, press the power button to start the calibration process and then add the weight to the scale pan. This is how my scale works and it is different than the instructions I received with the scale.

I've used my little scale for 2 days now--and it weighs things differently every time. Not very pleased with its performance. Perfect size. The rechargeable factor is great. Just not accurate--which is the purpose of a scale. I would send it back but I have discarded the boxes.

Item works, but the display and everything is in Mandarin. The weighing platform is also not straight. It comes with 2 rechargeable AAA batteries. Also noting that it's micro-usb charging and not USB-C. The picture didn't come out very well with the screen on, but it doesn't show g/oz, shows Chinese characters instead.

Smaller than I thought it would be so not practical if using for cooking. Also is not in English. All symbols on mine including the stick ons were in Chinese so maybe take care if ordering from Western countries. Returned which was an easy process with no hassles.
