Hiking in style
These are really nice hiking boots. I am a big fan of Adidas foot wear and have the low sneakers just like these and always buy last years' style, since these are generally at half price and the current ones are about 200 now, I am not cheap, but why pay that much for the same shoes, with slightly different styles. The treads are good for climbing up the slopes. We do lots of hiking in Sedona and Tucson, these have good traction and comfort for long hikes and the high tops provide more ankle support. I wear 11.5 and these were just a perfect fit at 11.5. Sometimes I end up buying 12's in Adidas shoes, but these fit just fine.

My favorite hiking boots by far
I've been hiking for only about 7 years but these are so much more comfortable and reliable than any boots I've ever owned. I have Merrells that fell apart after some good use but these Adidas are so comfortable that I kept them untied and they were virtually the only shoe I wore throughout the winter. Tie them up for a hike and they have as much tread and grip as any. Seems like zero wear and tear after a year of rugged use. I got them on sale so even better but you cannot beat the value even if these were $250.Also I have never owned hiking boots that I could wear to a restaurant and not think twice. Super comfy, super reliable.

Great for Law Enforcement
I normally dont do reviews, but I feel strongly about this purchase. Im a police officer and needed a durable hybrid boot/shoe. In my experience if you want durable, you sacrifice comfort. If you opt for comfort, you sacrifice durability. I think these Adidas Terrex finally combine both. They are light weight enough to remind you of a high end basketball shoe, but beefed up in areas such as the ankle and sole to give a little bit more of a quality hiking boot feel. When I say beefed up, I do not mean to imply they are bulky, because they are not. The laces are incredibly strong. They are a flat lace, fairly thick and stiff, but thats not a bad thing. They stay tied without a double knot. The overall support is very good. Ankle and arch support are excellent. They are incredibly comfortable with lots of cushion. The sole gives you incredible solid footing. I haven’t had them long, but these are my initial impressions. I normally wear a 12-12.5 in Adidas shoes. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered up a size. I ordered 13’s and the fit is perfect so they do run a size to a half size small. I especially recommend these to first responders, but also to anyone who is looking for that hybrid crossover, somewhere between an athletic shoe and a hiking boot. These things check a lot of boxes.

No slip and comfortable.
I love these hiking shoes with great traction. The only bad thing about these is the lacing. you have to struggle to get a good tightness at the top with the 3 or so lines.

Incredible outdoor and hiking shoe
I snagged these on sale for a trip through the UK. After logging nearly 100 miles in the shoes through mud, snow, ice, rain, and sometimes sunny weather, I can confidently say these shoes are incredible. My feet were always warm and dry. I never felt the shoes slide or feel unstable. They broke in quickly and were comfortable. I strongly recommend these shoes.

Fits perfectly. Seems ready for the winter.
I took out the insoles, placed Dr. Scholl's extra comfort all day insoles, with massaging gel, and it feels perfect! Also, my feet is 14" wide, with some shoe brands I have to get 15", I am very impressed that (because they didn't have that size) this fits!I will update in a few month, but as of right now it's perfect. I work security and typically walk around 8 miles a shift (20k steps @ 6'3" = 8.5 miles). My previous shoe a Hoka anacapa (with the same Dr. Scholl's) VERY GREAT SHOES!!! Bad side is that the soles are almost done after 9 months, and the price.
