Is it okay to put this in the dishwasher please?

Haven't tried it yet because there is no need. Washes up nicely. I have no doubt it will be safe in the dishwasher.

Does this knife lie flat or is it curved up at the end?

It’s definitely curved at the front making it a lot easier for cutting grapefruit or oranges. Highly recommended I wouldn’t be without it.
