I purchased the 9” dinner plate to use as cat food dishes to replace my donated-to-them white porcelain pasta bowls (which of course broke). Albeit being adopted as formerly motherless feral kittens, these little guys are very picky., They don’t like the typical deep dish cat bowls, wanting their wet food, dry food, and favorite bone broth separate on the dish. These dishes are perfect to suit their demands, have lower lips then the pasta bowls, are wide enough,. And IU appreciate that they are light, dishwasher and health- safe and come in colors. Perfect-everone is happy.

I actually have an entire set of these dishes, plates - bowls - cups & silverware. However, during a recent move, it seems like my bowls got lost in the shuffle. So, when I saw this, I knew I had to order them. I used one in the microwave for the first time a couple of evenings ago to make a package of ramen noodles. The bowl worked great! I set it for 4:30 minutes, stirred the noodles, then set for another 4 minutes. (My microwave is low wattage) It worked perfectly. The bowl stayed intact with no warping. So glad it worked out!I have used these before for salads, and love the size. I would highly recommend these for cereal, soups and/or salads.

These are microwaveable and light to carry. It’s perfect for cereal and to reheat meals in it as well. Love the colors. Wish they were available in one color only, but I can’t complain. I primarily bought these for microwave purposes. But can be used for salads, hot soup, etc. Also it’s an in-between size like a medium. Just right for me.

These bowls are the perfect size for soup or cereal, snacks, small salads, and I love that they remind me of vintage melamine bowls. Love the pastel colors. And microwave safe! At this price, the bowls and plates would make for great dishes in vacation rentals or cabins.

Put a tomato sauce in one in the microwave. Took many trips through the dishwasher to get the stain out. I like the light weight, but advise caution which foods you warm in them. The dishes heat up much less than ceramic in the microwave. The plates also scratch. Steak knives are not recommended for use with these.

I bought the 9" plates for dredging (flour, egg, breadcrumbs)! They work perfectly for this purpose and go right in the dishwasher afterwards. The raised lip keeps all dredging materials contained on the plates, so no spillage, and there's plenty of room to properly roll chicken, fish, or meat around. I would have loved these for my grandchild to eat on, but she's grown up now, so oh well. I bought the set of 4 plates, different colors. I had one plate leftover, so I put it out on my deck under a large plant, it's perfect! Great buy!

I had previously purchased a different size and loved them so I'm starting a new collection.
