If you're using the S2 14-inch Laptop Screen Expander (1920x1080, 60Hz, C-Type HDMI Input) with a MacBook Pro M4 Pro, and it's not working in portable single-cable mode, here's the workaround that finally got it working for me:✅ Working Solution1. Use the USB-C to USB 2.0 power cables that come with the S2 extender.2. Plug them into a USB 2.0 wall charger (not just your MacBook). This powers the screen extender separately.3. Once powered, connect the USB-C to USB-C cable from the screen extender to your MacBook Pro M4 Pro.4. If using two screens, connect one at a time (repeat steps above for each).⚠️ Note:This extender does NOT support one-cable portable mode with Thunderbolt 5 (TB5) on the M4 Pro, even though it works on older M1 models. External power is required for reliable detection.Hope this helps anyone running into the same compatibility issue!

It was always clumsy and not at all efficient toggling back and forth on the single screen of my laptop. I found and purchased this extender screen, simple to connect, it just snaps on your main screen of your laptop, connect the cable (several variations provided so it fits every type of laptop) super easy! Change your settings to multiple screens and now you have all your data andwebsites at your fingertips without toggling back and forth. I love it!

I still recommend this product and seller.Bought this thinking it would be a great addition to my laptop for work. The screens are great but they are heavy. Theyre constantly flipping my laptop forward from the weight of them. My laptop has a 17 inch screen so these are way smaller but the weight pulls it all forward and the stand does not help. Should've went with a wider stand and the screens that can move any way.

I paid 160$ for this "used-like new". Basically an open box item. Everything was there, and the protective films were still in place on the screens.Instructions aren't terribly clear but its not difficult to figure out and cabling is provided for a variety of connection configurations.Read the listing carefully, and make sure you have enough ports to get both displays working.My laptop has hdmi out, 2 standard USB A, and a fully powered USB C and I was able to get both screens running simultaneously with the included cabling and had one USB-A port left over.Resolution looks greatno notable latencyOnly complaint is it is heavy, and while it clips onto 3 sides of your laptop, do not imagine you will be picking this up and moving it around as a single unit. As a result of the weight, angle adjustment is limited to the angles supported by the supplied kickstand. It would be easy to 3d print or macguyver something to address this, and as Im using it with and adjustable standing desk, the concern is negligible.Note that I did not stress test anything for high end gaming or other demanding use cases, but for remote work coding and developing mainframe reports this is a great buy.

I highly recommend this product, it is great value for money. The screen is colorful and compact, and the carrying case makes it easy to store when traveling. Not only is it sturdy and versatile to love, it is also very convenient as I work from home and find myself needing a larger computer screen. I really love my laptop and the convenience of it and the fact that I can take it with me everywhere, the most convenient and most used monitor in our house!

It helps me a lot when I travel and when I use two laptops—I can connect one monitor to each. It works seamlessly with both my Mac and my Windows computer. Two stars for the triple monitor: I thought this would be a great addition to my laptop to give me multiscreens to do my multitasks but I was mistaken. As soon as I put it on, it immediately felt heavy and my laptop would not stay in one place, but tilting backwards with the weight. If you have a personal computer, this might work but not on laptops; this is way too heavy.EDITED to add: The customer service reached out and offered a full refund along with a gift of a dual monitor, which I gladly accepted and it works beautifully, it extends perfectly and does not have to be attached to my laptop. So happy with this.

This makes my work so much easier with extended monitors. I had to return the original one because one of the screens wasn’t working. Customer service was quick and sent me another one. I was having trouble using both screens with my Apple Mac Book, but they were able to tell me that I need to hook it up to directly to a power source. It took me a while to realize that, but it really does help me with my work. It comes with all the wires needed which is great, but I’m not a big fan of having to connect wires and everything, but that’s just me. It works great and I would recommend it to anyone who needs extra monitors to make their computer work experience easier.
