Put A Ring On It
It isn’t gold, platinum or silver and there are no diamonds or gem stones but this little rubber ring is worth a million. This ring fits around my middle toe and I keep the cushion underneath. The cushion relieves the pain from my arthritic toes and allows me to keep doing my favorite activity-walk. The package says this product is good for hammer toes but my podiatrist recommended it for my issue and it works. I will definitely definitely keep this ring on my toes,

Ineffective for straightening
This may work OK for cushioning a toe but is too flexible to help straighten or even prevent worsening of a hammertoe. I did like that it fits on one toe instead of more since this is more comfortable in a shoe and does everything I need anyway. It works best to me on the toe next to the big toe. Loop may be a bit big for any other toe. Wish it were rigid enough to apply downward pressure on the hammertoe to help straighten it.

Only Product that Actually Works!
I have a really serious hammer toe that after decades of putting it off will require some surgery next year. Meanwhile the doctor suggested this product to eliminate the friction and pain. I also bought a bunch of other products since I wanted to test everything. This is the only one that truly completely worked, I mean from major burning pain to zero pain. I walk five miles everyday and was unable to go more than three for months; now I can do my five miles and considering the pain relief I can put off the surgery for awhile. Wow, this works, the other products did not; none. I will do separate reviews on those products. Get this one, it keeps the toe from being a "hammer" when hiking and walking. The only issue is getting it to position correctly when I put on my socks, it tends to slide out of place, but it is adjustable with a bit of effort, and will stay in place once it is seated right.

The pads are very comfortable and I don't even feel the over-the-toe band. I've only had them for a few days but I think they'll help.
