Hmm, if I'd read the Amazon reviews rather than the other on-line ones then I probably wouldn't have bought this grinder. As it is though I did and am very happy with it.Setting up the grind size is a bit of a faff and it does take quite a while to grind enough beans for one of my super quad shot turbo nutter espresso's but that's probably a good thing as I then don't drink so many of them. Seriously, I'm happy to put a bit of effort into something I enjoy. If you're not, buy an electric grinder. The grind is very, very even. Much better than I expected. I'm doing a fine espresso grind so can't speak about filter / cafetiere or any of the other faux coffees.Some of the other reviews mention damaged burrs... I'm assuming that's due to tightening the locking nut too much and causing the burrs to bind? Time will tell.The storage jar top is a nice idea although it would take ages to fill the jar! Also as mentioned by @marco, the silicone sleeve which fits on the jar is too loose and tends to work its' way off like an errant sock. They're small complaints and for now I'm very happy and can heartily recommend it.

I have never had a coffee grinder before, so I have nothing to compare it with, but it seems very efficient. I can choose the fineness of the grind and it tastes good. I wash it occasionally in non fragrance washing up liquid.

I'd go for a different grinder as it's difficult to adjust the grind on this one. There's only a nut with no indicator that allows you to see how many turns you have set it to. The range of turns is also much larger than you would ever use for grinding coffee. I've seen it in many youtube reviews as a recommended product - not sure why.

The smallest setting gives perfect grind for filter. Quite hard to hold in place while grinding so can only manage up to two cups at any one time. Better than an electric grinder tho

Good little unit that works reliably.
