Q: Can it display consoles Throught computers?

I don’t know exactly what you are asking. What o do with it is to grab the HDMI output from one of my raspberry pi computers and connect that to one end of the deco. I connect the other end to a usb slot on another computer. Both of these are on my basement. From another computer in a different area of the house I run RemotePC to connect to the computer in the basement. Through the RemotePc connection I start up Vic and set the input to usb video. Then I can see the video from the raspberry pi HDMI output,

I decided it was more trouble than I paid for the item. It did not end up working out for me.

Q: Would this work for PS3 as well?

It should provided you have a HDMI output from the PS3 and then capture it via a USB cable to your computer.
