I've been using this product for over a year now (recommended from a friend). I mostly use it for neck, shoulders, and back. You can adjust the amount of pressure by how much weight you put on it. Since I love deep massages, I usually lay on it - it can bruise the muscles if you can't do a light massage afterwards. But it is awesome. It's built great, still running with no issues like day one.

Shiatsu Back shoulder & Neck Massager With Heat - Deep Tissue 3D Kneading Pillow MassagerThe massage you get from this is wonderful IF you like heavy deep massage - which I do- it works on lower back as well as neck and shoulders - and everywhere in between. The massage feels like someone who is using decent pressure on your tight muscles. It is quiet and nothing like the vibrating massage most massagers use. It is relaxing and serious. If you are delicate or cannot take hard pressure from someone massaging your shoulders this is most likely not for you. The heat is also nice but using the unit for more than 15 minutes at a time it gets a bit too warm but you can use with or without heat. The long cord allows you to plug into a wall socket and leave it there, the unit actually has a short cord coming from the 'sleeve' that hooks into the cord via a barrel jack (similar to a headphone jack). The only real downside I see is the controls are in the right sleeve which is great until you try to reach them easily while still all situated - maybe my arms are short but I do find it a bit difficult to keep my left arm in the sleeve and still reach around to the right sleeve to use the controls - (Maybe they could have made them adjustable?) That being said, I do wish the time for massage was controllable - it is good for 15 minutes at a time which then you must turn it back on, would be nice if you could choose say 15 minutes or 30 - maybe the unit needs time to rest? IDK - also the other thing I would change is for the direction of the massage to remain the same without auto changing every 60 seconds.. there must be a reason for it but I would prefer to have a choice to use - all outward massage - all inward massage or multi directional as it is set for. All in all this is most definitely a wonderful massage unit for those with sore muscles - the best I have ever used ! - this in my opinion is for those who want deep serious massage and not necessarily for those who just want a little back rub. The unit itself is bigger than I thought and a bit cumbersome - it has a nice carry case but not all that easy to keep putting back in the case if you use this daily . You can NOT lay on this. You sit comfortably in a chair and use it. The arm 'sleeves' are a very soft leather like feel - as I said before I just wish they were adjustable in length.- in closing, buy it if you need deep massage to your back, shoulders and neck . 5 stars

I haven't given a full 5 stars just because it's a bit painful at times, which may just be me. It almost feels as if it conforms to your neck, it feels great. My lower back pain is actually relieved, neck still needs some work, heat doesn't get hot, just slightly warm. Overall, I like it and would recommend this Shiatsu massager.

We own a few massage guns, and this compares favorably to them. Of note, those massage guns cost significantly more than $100. And, the current cost of this device is $90, which we feel is a reasonable (perhaps competitive) price. It’s a powerful massager, with a nice complement of replacement massage heads. The significant other remarked that she likes the light weight (compared to our other massage guns).Operation is straightforward and easy to handle. On the back of the top cylindrical element are the few control buttons and LCD display. The buttons are self-explanatory: power icon activates/deactivates the massage gun; the +/- buttons increase/decrease the speed, respectively. The LCD display is divided into two sections, to show the speed level and battery status (shown in percentage of power remaining).The massage gun declares that it has 20 speed settings. The range of speed is 2400ppm - 5200ppm (ppm = pulses per minute). A fully charged battery will operate between 3 - 6 hours, depending on the selected speed. This is a very credible operating time, even 3 hours at the fastest speed is a respectable performance.The company touts that the massage gun is “super quiet”. It is a fairly quiet device for a massage gun. Of course, as you select a faster speed setting, the noise level will increase. But, overall, compared to other massage guns, even at the highest speed it’s still less noisy. So, I grant the company’s claim regarding the relative quiet operation.Attached are photos to show real world images, with a ruler for size reference. Photos are included to show key aspects/features of the massage gun and accessories.It has ample power, good range of speed, relatively quiet operation, excellent battery capacity with generous operating time, light weight, easy controls/operation, smart design, quality materials and manufacture. If I had to offer a suggestion/improvement, it would be to have a truly variable speed control, so 0ppm - 5200ppm. But, that is not even an option on our considerably more expensive units.Overall, this massage gun is exactly as described and depicted in the product details. It fully satisfied our expectations. Accordingly, it earns a 5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

Purchased this on march 3rd.. I loved it at first. The massage was amazing and felt good since I work from home and my shoulders get tense. Also the heat was giving! Got super hot. After using it practically everyday, then stopped for a while. I picked it up and tried using it and the fast speed seems sluggish. It’s so bulky. And you have to keep it plugged it. Which the plug is okay but the rollers an so sluggish now. And if you want to lay down with it, it’s so bulky that it’s not comfortable. Luckily I can return this product. Will look for other options

I have owned this for 4 years and its still great. I love how versatile this is. I use this on many areas of my body and it works down all of my built up tension. It is such satisfying relief. It's like going to a spa. I even want to fall asleep while using it because it feels so great.

Have had no issues with this massager. Works great for neck and lower back.
