Fantastic, stylish, intelligent design
For all intents and purposes, this is a great bag. It's super comfortable regardless of how much you pack in it, whether you casually wear it with one strap over a shoulder or traditionally with both straps. It's comfortable for long term wear, looks stylish, and feels secure. I took it with me on two trips to New York this year, used it daily as my main backpack for work, and took advantage of every pocket. Here's the cautionary tale, and it's brief. Four months after initially buying it, the lining just inside the top completely unraveled and came apart, as if the seam was too close to the edge and the material just pulled away from the stitches. Not knowing exactly what the warranty is, I sent an email to the address indicated on the tag that came with it asking about the warranty. The result? "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly." Two attempts at emails, and their @outlook.com email address can't take any more messages. Is Kopack a company with a website? Nope. Is their pledge to provide "a 5 star experience" to the customer intact? Shaky. This may be a unique experience - everything that's mass produced can and will have some odd turnouts that are sub-par. On the other hand, caveat emptor; A full email inbox from a generic domain may be an indication that they're not actually intended for heavy use. I will attempt to fix it myself or - more likely - may go the route of finding a more dependable brand with a website and working customer service portal.UPDATE - 12/16After chatting with Diana from Kopack, they arranged a replacement backpack right away, and the entire conversation and process was stress-free. In fact, the backpack I received was an updated design of the same model which feels more sturdy and better organized inside. Thanks to my workload during this busy holiday season, I've stuffed this backpack and used it on a daily basis, and it's fantastic. I can get to everything I need easily and will be travelling with it again soon.As far as customer service and quality control goes, I can absolutely understand how there will always be one-off flaws when it comes to products. The response and follow-up, once they were able to sort out their email issues, were super professional and I really appreciated how they prioritized getting me a new bag. Was I still using the one with the broken lining until I got the new one? Broken or not, it's still a great bag. The new one is now a five star review, naturally.

Best backpack I’ve owned.
This backpack is made for me. I’m a small person and I love how this bag is just the perfect size for me. Not too long or big and not too bulky or baggy. I love the clean look and lines of the design as well. I’m an avid traveler and this bag is perfect for that. I love the side pockets hidden in the little flap in the back, passport, phone and slim wallet fit right in. The lower back zipped pocket is perfect for extra security. Bonus for having the USB port inside the little flap instead of having it outside. The straps also have small hidden pocket. They’re not zipped though, but I imagine you could put something like chapstick in there and it’ll be fine. The inside is also perfect for what I like to carry. My 13” MacBook Pro fits right in even when it’s inside a sleeve. The inside is very well padded, especially the bottom so I don’t have to shove jackets or clothes to use as padding. There’s two pockets in the bottom that’s perfect for my Sony a6000 camera and the light accessories I like to carry with it. There’s also pockets on each side and my external battery fits right in. The two pockets at the top is perfect for the little things I like to carry like a chapstick, earplugs, and a small bottle of hand lotion. There’s still plenty of room to put a book or two in there as well. The bag itself looks and feels very durable. It also feels very secure and something I could be using at a foreign country without worrying that something would be stolen while I have it in my back.

New favorite travel and motorcycle backapck
The media could not be loaded. I've been looking for the perfect motorcycle backpack. This is as close as I've gotten. I've been trying to balance business/motorcycle needs and coolness. I have an Ogio no drag, and that fits the coolness factor, I have a ful refugee bag that works as an awesome business backpack. This backpack is my latest attempt to fill all the roles with one bag. So far its done it. The bag is large enough to fit my 15" toshiba laptop as well as my note pro 12.2 at the same time. Another feature that I love are the hidden pockets and the security features. All of the zipppers are on the strap side of the back pack. The only way to easily open the main compartment or the largest hidden compartment is by taking the backpack off. There are technically 4 hidden pockets. The reason I say technically is because the bottom hidden pocket holds the rain cover for the backpack. There are 2 hidden pockets positioned on the sides of the backpack. There's a large hidden pocket positioned in the padding on the back of the backpack. The back pack has a built in usb port that's connected to a cable inside the backpack. In the past I've used this as a quick way to connect my external hard drive at work without having to take it out of my bag and possibly forgetting it. This time I'm going to use it for the purpose it was intended. I'm connecting one of my battery backups to it to charge my phone when I travel. I don't trust airport charging stations. This is the reason I started using the battery backups. The inside of the bag has lots of storage space and plenty of pockets for my gadgets and other distractions I need for work. The way the pockets are setup its very easy to organize this bag. I think this will be my main backpack for a while. I'm looking forward to taking this on my trip. I'm also looking forward to my next long motorcycle ride so I can see how it does.
