This portable monitor is a great value for the money. 144hz refresh rate with 2k resolution. I travel with a Razer gaming laptop a lot and like to carry around a second monitor. I did some research and ran into this monitor from UPERFECT. It is a great value for the money. The resolution is the same as the razer laptop, 1440p, which any gamer knows that is one of the best resolutions for gaming since it doesn't overuse the GPU, but still looks way better than a standard 1080p monitor. The refresh rate is also super nice to have since I can definitely tell the difference between 60hz and 144hz. I would say the priority is the resolution, since you have more pixels available, which means you can show more information on the same screen. The refresh rate is a bonus at this price point, where you can feel the difference on how documents scroll, movies/videos look, etc. When I pair this monitor with my gaming laptop, I don't have to compromise with resolution or refresh rate, this monitor makes my portable set up look uniform. No issues with scaling, or refresh rate looking different when moving my mouse from one monitor to the other. I mainly use this monitor as a complimentary monitor when working or gaming. But my current laptop has a higher resolution, 1440p and a standard 1080p monitor doesn't do it for me since I have issues with scaling. This monitor solves that issue at a good price. Has all the cables you need out of the box and works with one USB-C cable. I really like the fact that I can just plug this monitor in to my laptop with a USB-C cable and it works instantly. The display gets super bright too, actually brighter than my plugged-in monitors which makes it feel very welcome when using it on the go. I don't have to worry about glares and not being able to see items when outdoors, or in well illuminated rooms. 10/10 recommend for someone looking for just a little more than a basic monitor. A monitor with really good features, and good performance at a reasonable price point.

When I held the monitor, I was having some doubt at first. After some several uses, I am genuinely surprised that this monitor can deliver all of the features that it was listed and still weight less than a tablet! There is no need to update or make any adjustments upon start up, just plug and play! The monitor can easily be used with just one USB-C cable. However, if you plan on running this with higher settings (Brightness, OD, FPS), you will need to use the charger that came included. Otherwise it will turn off and your changes will be reset. This has been my go-to monitor whenever I want to do lightwork away from my room, future traveling, or just game on a bigger screen. Pros: -Setup is easy. Just plug in and that's it -Unbelievably light and easy to use. -Text and pictures look very sharp when outputting it in 2K. -Matte screen is excellent -Colors are good (You will have to adjust the color settings if you want it to look phenomenal) -Cover stand looks simple and easy to use -Refresh rate is buttery smooth Cons: -The speakers are okay. They're fine when using it for short use. If you plan on using it longer, consider an external speaker or headphones. -The cover stand is very sensitive on soft or uneven materials. Consider using the VESA mount or mobile stand. Despite the flaws, it is still a great portable monitor and something that I would recommend if you plan on traveling, moving from place to place, or in a small workspace. Customer service is helpful as well. They have provided solutions to me whenever I had problems. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you need help. This is my first monitor. No doubt I'll be sure to look more into their products in the near future.

Fantastic image, resolution, and form factor. Worked well for about 6 months of moderate use during travel. Setting the refresh to 144Hz started to cause syncing problems, resulting in a black screen. Lowering the refresh to 120Hz or 60Hz fixed the issue for a couple of months, then I ended up with no image once again. Currently I cannot maintain native resolution at 60Hz without the screen going dark. The interval of how long the monitor would actually work continued to drop the more I used it, so I've pretty much stopped using it after a year.

I am impressed with the 144Hz refresh rate and sharp 2K resolution. It is the perfect sweet spot for my gaming needs. I love the smoothness and clarity of motion on the monitor. Edit** upon further research the PS4 Pro does not have 1440p support so nothing wrong with screen. There is a bit of light bleed from the panel on the bottom left but only noticable when I'm looking for it when something black is on screen. I bought the 16.1 2K 144hz screen. The screen works great and looks great too BUT I can't seem to get it to display higher than 1080p. I used the HDMI to mini HDMI cable with a PS4 Pro and can't get it over 1080p 60hz. I know the PS4 Pro has a max refresh rate of 60hz but I should be able to get 2K resolution. Do I need to get a powered HDMI to USB-C converter? Otherwise it still looks great and has good refresh rate. Controls are simple and speakers are ok a best. Wasn't expecting amazing speakers anyhow. Back to the resolution. I'm going to upgrade to the PS5 can anyone tell me what they are getting res/refresh rate? What cables/ports do you use? Overall a good screen made well and better than others tried. No ghosting or tearing. Plenty bright I use it on 8 and that's more than enough.

Update: The monitor ended up having an issue after just over a year. The panel started getting strips of dots/colors in the bottom corner. UPerfect was very prompt and offered a replacement. Original review: * Plastic body is solid and reasonably light weight compared to similarly sized monitors with a metal shell. * The matte screen is great if you need it in a room with bright lights or outside. * The 1440p@144Hz is great for gaming whether it be a secondary screen for a gaming laptop or a modern console. * The VESA mounts are a very welcome addition. I've used portable monitors for years on my main desktop and needing to rig those without mounts is a serious pain. * Comes with all the proper cables and power brick. * While not generally recommended the monitor looks decent if running in non-native 1920x1080 mode. This can useful in certain situations where 1440p isn't supported.. It's slightly blurry but looks alright. Handles the non-native resolution much better than other monitors I've used. If you increase the sharpness the blurriness disappears. * Unable to test HDR due to lack of support in Linux but responds similar to other monitors when put into HDR mode. * Don't have proper tooling to test the color reproducibility or brightness but looks good for casual usage. I was looking for a decent portable monitor to connect my assorted gaming consoles to so that I could game on the couch while my wife watches TV. I did some research and I found the UPERFECT Portable Monitor 2K 144Hz. It had good reviews and the price was acceptable. I bought it back on October 6th, 2023. I hooked my PS3 and Xbox 360 up to it and played some forgotten gems. I bought a little off-brand dock for my Steam Deck and played a lot of Skyrim on it. Played some Destiny 2 using my laptop with no issues. It was great! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the lack of VESA mounting. About a month after I got the monitor, it just stopped working. The monitor would turn on but, it would only display the "No Signal" message and power save itself off. This was right before Thanksgiving and Christmas and life got busy. I finally got around to contacting UPERFECT customer service about two weeks ago. They were extremely helpful during this whole process. We walked through troubleshooting steps. I sent them a video showing exactly what was going on and then we tried a few more things. We were unable to get the monitor working again and I shipped it back to them. As soon as I sent them the tracking number for the old monitor, UPERFECT sent me a new and updated version of the monitor! The new monitor even has a VESA mount on the back of it! I love it! It's even better than the first one! This is the first review that I have ever written on Amazon because I usually can't be bothered to take the extra steps. The company got my money, that's good enough. Not this time! I didn't know what to expect with UPERFECT customer service since it had been a few months since I made the original purchase. They blew me away with their prompt responses and the end result. Every interaction was a pleasure and I got the sense that they cared about the experience from my point of view. The image looks great. Easy setup, just plug in and it works. BUT... whenever it is plugged in it hijacks my system audio. No matter the setting for system audio, it hijacks the sound and produces the sound on crappy speakers. I can't use my bluetooth headset when this is monitor is attached. I had to return it, the incompatibility could not be overcome.
