Box was obviously someone else's return. One light of 8 works, and was the only one that still had the plastic cover on the solar panel. Seriously disappointed, ordered the fence lights from the same brand and was quite happy. These aren't even "fresh" garbage.Edited - Whomever had these items prior to me (because its still obvious it was a return) had removed the batteries and put them back incorrectly. I was considering trying to buy a replacement battery, because I like the lights, and when I opened the battery compartment, I could tell the battery wasn't in there correctly. After replacing it correctly, it lit up immediately! The light wasn't bright, but the battery had likely lost all its charge from being incorrectly seated. I then did the same with the rest of the lights and all function correctly.I am so happy to have found this. I really like the lights, they look nice and light up well enough for a few hours after sunset (i don't get a lot of sunlight, and I don't need them to run all night anyway).

I don't really like to complain but in this case I have no choice. I unboxed two of the solar caps and turned them on. On the very first night one already quite working! I ordered a total of 20 but am hesitant to take anymore out of the box or just return them all. This is disappointing because I really liked the idea of being able to have different colors for different seasons .

I was so excited to put these on my fence post, my fence post do not have any trees overhang them. They worked great for the first six weeks and then they would not hold a charge. I took out the batteries and manually charge them, but they stopped working. I pulled it apart and noticed that it was waterlogged, evidently can’t withstand super rainy states.

After the first night people stopped and asked where they can get them. If you're looking to add some ambiance to your property dirt cheap, these are what you need. One of the only solar lights that actually stay on as advertised, only ones I have purchased that actually last dusk to dawn.

I ordered another set previous to these and I liked them so much that I decided to order these. Turns out that these are much cheaper too! I like that you can choose the color that you want them to be. Especially around the holidays. Changing the colors is really easy too.Now for the not so great part. We have the standard, wood, 4X4 posts with the vinyl sleeve over it. Unfortunately, none of the bases fit tight over them. The three different options of bases are either too small or too big. We ended up using the large ones and screwing them directly into the post tops. They still look nice and provide a lot of light. Because they are in the sun all day, they come on at dusk and last anywhere between 10-12 hours. We have been using them since the beginning of August and not even one has failed. I clean the solar panels when needed. The rechargeable AA batteries can also be replaced when needed.We're hoping they last a long, long time. Yes, highly recommend.

Love the lights. The only downfall is sometimes some of the lights won’t light up.
