Excellent product and service.
Arrived swiftly ice packed by courier. These are much bigger than the tiddlers you get in supermarkets. So much so that the first time I cooked a pair I was stuffed! They are a bit on the salty side, more chewy than supermarket kippers but superior taste. Second time I tried them I poached one in a little water, taking the advice of a previous reviewer. This reduced the salt but didn't detract from the flavour. I would recommend these highly and will buy again. I'll also look at their other produce.

Plump and succulent fillets, no dry bits. Natural and delicious.
These are delicious fillets of herring, beech/oak wood smoked into traditional kippers, no dye. This order of 2kg contained 10 packs, each pack containing two (double) fillets, each fillet measuring about 4-5" across, about 6" long. Each pack weighs a minimum of 150g and the fillets are plump and succulent. These arrived in double quick time, by courier, in a chilled state, boxed and with chill packs to keep cold. They're ready for use in their 'boil in the bag' packs, or can go straight in the freezer.I don't like kippers very salty, so I don't do 'boil in the bag.' I like mine better decanted from their packs into a pan and poached for a few minutes in a little water, then lifted out and served with a dollop of butter and a big chunk of freshly baked bread. The poaching takes out some of the salt, but doesn't spoil the flavour. These have been well filleted, very few pins. Bigger and much nicer than the yellow offerings in the supermarkets, and better tasting.I prefer fillets to the whole kippers as they're easier to do in a pan (or under the grill) and there aren't any dry bits or skeletons to dispose of.It's hard to find really good kipper fillets, these are lush and I'll definitely order from here again.

Great package
Wow. Too salty too me. I can only eat 1/3 fish a day, or I consume too much salt. Other than that is perfect.
