My wife and I wanted some nice, durable and well made lights for outside at night. Our pets like going out at night so we wanted to help light the way. Installation was very easy. The package includes mounting screws and good directions. We chose to use 3M double sided tape to put them on our fencing. With the vinyl fencing it seemed like a wise choice instead of screws. I used alcohol to clean the surface, and place the lights about 3 ft up the fence poles. The tape is an excellent option and holds quite nice. We had about 8 hrs of charging and couldn’t be more impressed with the brightness. Actually more than what we were expecting. And their water proof as well. It’s just enough light to give a warm glow to the yard and is perfect for the side of out house as you can see. I would definitely recommend this purchase. You will be very pleasantly surprised. And… all the lights were working!

I bought these in april of 2021 and here we are 3 years later and the only issue i've had is that one of the batteries in one of the lights is no longer holding a charge. This is most likely due to the fact that I only used 7 of the 8 lights and the one that remained in storage is the one where the battery is no longer holding a charge. My advice would be to remove the rechargeable battery if you plan to store the lights over a longer period of time.These lights are not spectacularly bright, but I certainly wouldn't say that they are too dim either. They have a beautiful warm ambient glow that does an excellent job of lighting any dark area or footpath they are installed above. I would recommend that you try not to install them higher than 3 feet above the pathway or staircase that you are attempting to illuminate. I have had great results up to 3-1/2 feet but approaching 4 feet and higher the light becomes far less effective on pathways and staircases and will mostly just provide ambience rather than effective path lighting.As for the performance.... it is absolutely critically important that you install these lights in such a manner as to expose them to as much direct sunlight throughout the day as possible. It will severely diminish the performance of the runtime if you depend on ambient daylight to recharge them and they simply will not stay on for more than a few minutes after sunset if installed in areas that are heavily shaded during the day. Installed correctly (after a day of full sunlight) these lights (shockingly) continue to remain on throughout the entire night until sunrise the following morning (for the past 3 years in my case). On overcast or rainy days the runtime is drastically reduced with all of them going out before 9pm.While they don't seem to be 100% impervious to the weather over extended use I also have not had any of them accumulate enough moisture to affect the functioning of the lights. The greatest negative impact i've experienced by having them installed with continuous exposure to the weather is that the lens that disperses the light from the LED's has become slightly more opaque than when the lights were brand new. It seems that this opacity is actually as a result of moisture ingress into the housing of the fixture being deposited on the inside of the lens and attracting dust and what seems to be like a extremely slight accumulation of mold on the inside of some of the lenses. This probably reduced the light output by no greater than 5% so it's not a very significant issue.The most interesting thing is that I installed these lights using the white Indoor 3M double sided tape with the expectation that it would release easily and I could continue to reposition the lights over time until I found the optimal location for capturing the best sunlight for the maximum runtime. In practice that 3M indoor double sided tape holds on to both the lights and the walls with a death grip and has completely ignored everything the weather has thrown at it over the past 3 years. In two instances the paint on the wall failed instead of the double sided tape when I tried to remove 2 of the lights to reposition them. I had to repaint the walls where the paint got torn off which is a testimony to how incredible the adhesion of that 3M indoor doublesided tape really is.The price of these lights were a great deal cheaper at the time of purchase $38.99 as opposed to the $49.99 they are currently listed for. Do I think they are still worth it at the higher price? Absolutely. I highly recommend these and would buy them again in a heartbeat despite the higher cost.

They don’t seem very sturdy and I will follow up on that as time goes by. I am a bit concerned about how waterproof they are because they are not sealed and are held closed by four tiny screws.Mounting would be easy if you trust the mounting screws that come with the lights. Again, very small and no matter what I did (tightening screws) they did not fasten securely; they were wobbly. I tried to use a larger screw but space is very limited and it appears as though the mounting notches will only accept a #5 screw or smaller.To address these issues I removed the stainless backing and securely screwed them into a board. I attached the light fixture to the stainless part using outdoor double sided tape. I attached the board to my dock using deck screws.They were surprisingly bright for solar lights. I’m hoping they will stand the test of time.I’ll follow up. I’m not overly impressed, and I’m not sure if they’re a good value but I’m not completely disappointed and may purchase more if they prove to be sturdier than I expect.

Love these lights. I put them on my deck steps and hand rail going into the backyard. They illuminate the steps really nicely. Easy to install with either screws or outdoor mounting tape strips. I bought th in white but I think they come in soft white also. Good product and they are holding up well so far.

I purchased the larger set originally to put on my fence around my backyard. I then ordered 2 more and plan to order another 4 more. They are very simple to install and/or remove with no effort at all. I wish they were a little brighter, maybe 4 LEDs in each one, but still a great buy. Others I have gotten in the past have been harder to install and remove.During our recent blackouts due to fires I was w/o electricity for more then 4 days. I took the extra ones I had, left them outside to get energized during the day and then brought them back inside and literally taped them to different things in my house, making it really handy to see during the blackouts! So, each day I would simply take them down (held on with scotchtape) during the day, sit them on a a chair in my backyard, and then at night tape them to my walls wherever I felt the need. I must say also that I love them on my fence and they look really cool! I highly recommend these lights.
