There's always water slobbed around the faucet. Got this to stop it. It works ok which is odd because it has a bendy spot across the back. No idea why. Narrow space between faucet and wall maybe??? Anyway, where it bends, there is no ridge around the edge to stop the water from going out it. And, the back is not thicker than the front so there is no angle to drain the water forward. I ended up putting two gobs of caulk underneath the back to give it some pitch and then again at each spot where there is no ridge. It works ok, but you shouldn't have to retrofit something made for and being used for the same purpose.

Slight compatibility issue with RV sinks with lids.I had to remove the product when putting the lids on or off the sink. Other than that it works as advertised and will be perfectly fine with sinks without any kind of insert or lids.I can't fully blame the product for something it probally wasn't intended for. I will continue to use it.

There are a few other slightly different designs out there, but this one seems to help keep a lot of water splash out of that faucet base plate area.

It definitely has helped with the water stains on my counter although we have hard water and it does stain the black color. I do use a little oil and can get it out but it’s just added work too
