Seems OK, but there's not a lot of info about stats or compatibility
I used this in a kozyvacu TA450. The hardest part was figuring out whether it was compatible or not.Quick compatibility guide. If you have a:Avid Armor Chamber Vacuum Sealer Machine: use this oilConsumer Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump: probably ok to use this oilIndustrial/Commercial/Lab devices: don't use this oilWhy?The biggest thing is it doesn't list its material characteristics. The only one it does list is "viscosity 46", by which i assume they mean ISO grade 46, which is equivalent to 46 centiStokes at 40C. Oil standard measurements are complex and i don't want to explain them in this review, but suffice it to say there's a lot of variables and this particular oil is forcing us to make a lot of guesses.I don't have the test equipment to assess the actual viscosity of this oil. However, a little bit of research into the brand indicates that they are a lab equipment supplier, so i bet it's reasonably trustworthy.I did some research and found some ISO 46 oil that was being sold as vacuum pump oil for rotary vane direct drive pumps. After thinking for a while I just decided to put some into my pump and see what happened. I topped it off using this oil and started it up, and ran it for a few minutes. I didn't observe any unusual sounds, smells, or vacuum performance, so i assume it's fine. My vacuum pump cost me $90 on amazon though. If you are using a $10000 lab pump and have strict performance needs in terms of vacuum capability and machine lifetime, you should not just buy random no-docs oil on amazon, you should use something with manufacturer recommended specs.
