Linsoul DDHIFI TC28C Pro USB-C to USB-C OTG Lightweight Power Adapter Converter

Well, not too much to say about this, other than it's almost a necessity amongst audiophile's and it's the typical bulletproof DD HiFi quality. Seems to be a single piece of metal and extremely well built. It's a part of DD HiFi's new "Pro" series (which I love) and the quality shows it. It works flawlessly with my Shanling Audio M5s DAP and UA5 DAC/Amp as well as with my Pixel 7a.This is an OTG (On-The-Go) type of adapter. It makes it possible to charge your device AND send/receive a digital signal at the same time. If I'm using my Shanling Audio M5s DAP as a USB DAC with my laptop, i can charge the M5s AND use it as a USB DAC. Or use my M5s DAP as a USB digital transport/player and send a digital signal to my UA5 DAC/Amp, while charging the M5s DAP. I can also use my phone as a digital audio player (HiBy Player app), hook it up to my Shanling Audio M5s DAP or UA5 DAC/Amp to bypass the phones DAC and use either Shanling device for it's far superior DAC conversion. But I can charge the phone/DAP AND use it's USB connection simultaneously. A MASSIVE game changer for someone who listens to a lot of music through his trusty old DAP (me LoL). Sorry if that's confusing, just trying to explain exactly how this gadget works ✌️Also, this claims to have a 10W max output for charging a device, but I swear it charged my phone at 15-20W because of how quickly it charged. I could be mistaken though and 10W is it's maximum charging rate? But it seemed faster than that to me ✌️My ONLY gripe is that this doesn't work with the thicker case on my phone (Cheaper OtterBox Defender). But I ONLY listen to HQ music files (24 &16 bit FLACs) and on my Shanling M5s DAP, so it's not a problem for me. I just need a thinner case to use with my phone though.

This thing feels well-built and it does exactly what it says it does. I almost didn't buy it as one reviewer said it didn't work if you had a case on your phone, but I would not believe that DDHIFI were that stupid, especially considering how the device looks, as if it were designed to work with a standard phone case. I can't say it works with every case, but it definitely works with a Peak Design Everyday case on the P8Pro, which is a pretty mainstream sized case. Using it with my Cayin RU7 quite happily.

I have to plug it in in a specific order for it to work.

This does the trick for using dongle DAC amps with USB C iPad. Simple, inexpensive, with flawless performance. A+

This is perhaps one of the most important pieces of equipment that exists in my world. If you've ever tried to use an external dongle or hard drive on your tablet or cell phone for more than a few hours you will definitely have the issue of battery death. This circumvents not allowing you to charge your phone or tablet while using the external device with no issue. I may actually buy two more just to keep around.

This tc28c works good on my iPad, but beware that it may not work with some dongles. If it works for you, it will be a good choice. YMMV. You may want to test it before you keep it past the return window. It works with my Xduoo BAL Link2, not with my Hidizs pro 9. Just a heads up. Recommended if it works for you. The iBasso cb19 is another choice as well.

Does not fit the USB C connector when a protection case is used. Nice workmanship but quite expensive for what it does. Many less fancy alternatives available.
