Pennington Bare Spot Repair Penkoted Grass Seed Mixture Central 1 lb

The grass from these seeds grew nicely and there were never any weeds. I had to do a second application to get a thicker more dense repair area and the second time the seedlings did well. I'm very pleased with the amount of area it covered and the great price. I will buy more in the spring and seed just to thicken up the lawn for next year.

I used two bags of the seed in attempt to grow grass on a portion of my yard where the pool was. I raked and aerated the area first removing all debris and ensuring to break up any tough portions of the ground. I did water the ground prior to aerating to make it easier. I then spread the two bags of seed and covered with peat moss. I water daily at least once a day making sure the ground stays moist. This is about a 100sq foot area, maybe a little over. The photos posted are growth at day 13! This product works slowly but surely with the right preparation and care. Super good value for the money spent.

Seemed to take too long to start growing. But eventually it grew.

This grass seed is very good started growing in 5 days, i water it daily…. I was reading some of the reviews on this grass seed and others, the package tells you on the back what area it’s good for, I live in New Jersey. And I have no problem with this product….. on one review one person mention she lives in Arizona and this didn’t do well….. peoples please read back of package….scroll across on all the pictures and read…..and if it didn’t work may be the soil need treating….thanks for the product Amazon….

This seed fixed many spots on my lawn. Quality seed and when kept moist it germinate in a week. It was well established and ready to mow in about 2 1/2 weeks. Bye Bye bare spots
