Works great, especially for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Works great, especially for the price! I got this for $9.99, as a solution for my cat who likes to go down into our unfinished basement to explore. I don't like having to keep the door to the basement open all the time because it lets cold air in, etc. With this solution, I can keep the main door closed, but my cat can come and go freely. I am grateful to the other reviewer who mentioned the magnet issue. Mine came with two little magnets, but they were not secured, so they popped out all the time. Thanks to that reviewer, I knew to be alert to this, and I determined that the cat door has two little compartments for the magnets: one on the bottom of the door flap, and one in the frame. You need one magnet in each, oriented so they attract toward each other, so that the door will flap down and stay centered in the frame between uses. However, you need to secure the magnets in their compartments, as otherwise they are strong enough that they will pull each other out. I ended up using super glue to secure them into their compartments (again confirming the correct orientation first!) and it works great now.Interestingly, the back of this door frame has no function. It attaches with its own separate screws, and has no role in the door function. I guess they figure it just looks better than having a sawed hole in the door on that side. But fyi, even if your door is thicker than the suggested door width, the door will still work, because all of the function is contained in the front panel.Interestingly, my door was within the suggested width (it's 5/8" wide -- see photo showing door width), yet there is a gap between the front frame and back frame where you can see the sawed hole of the door. Not a big deal at all. It's because there's no tunnel on this door-- just the front panel and back panel.I definitely recommend for the price point!

Worth It
Functions. Dependable and keeps the weather/nature outside. Easy install. We have 6 cats, 3 in which are big backs lol. All of them fit through the door. However, a little disappointed, magnet that keeps door closed, continuously falls out and finally fell out and we're not able to locate it. I'm praying my kitties didn't ingest it. As for the slider locks, they're kind hard to move. Going to see about adding a small amount of lubricant to get them to slide better. Love that there's also 4 picture diagrams printed on the door frame to tell you how to lock it/open it and change the door swing to either swing out/prevent them from coming back in, or swings in to let me cats in/prevent my cats from going back out.

Came quickly and well packaged.
Easy installation. Looks nice and it works. Somewhat thin and a bit cheaply made but it's serving it's purpose. For the price it's a decent product.

Great value
This door was used for cats to go outside. We had it for 3 years. Very sturdy and worked well even in the cold weather.

Good cat door.
It’s the only door I could find that would mount in a thin storm door panel. Fit nice and was pretty easy to install. The only thing is that with 2 magnets to hold it shut it takes a bit of effort for my cats to open. They were hesitant at first but are starting to get it.

Doesn’t lock
If you’re looking for something you can actually lock this isn’t the cat door for you. If you have a slightly larger cat that is extremely food motivated, this door stands no chance. I locked it and he pushed it open the moment he heard me getting the food bowls ready. Other than that super easy install and nice otherwise.

Perfect fit!
We decided to combine the garden shed into a cat house. Now the cats can go inside and sit on the shelves I made in the windows when they want to and be protected from other animals and the environment!Works great!!!

Works fine with even bigger cats
I have 2 big cats and they fit just fine with this door. Only thing is they lock themselves out frequently, but have figured out how to unlock it after a couple months.
