I bought a second hand double cassette player (in good condition)....and my old tapes sounded fine. I thought I'd try this and give it a go to see if it made any difference. Wow! What a difference it has made. I ran this caseete head cleaner (with juice) a couple of times through each deck, and the difference is amazing. I just thought my old tapes compared to cd and streaming were just old tech and therefore old quality. I'd forgotten how good they sound, now that I've cleaned the heads. Clarity and separation between the instruments and sparkle in the highs. Definitely recommend if your wondering like me ....'Yeah - but does it really make that much of a difference?'Hell Yeah!

Excellent product did twice to player that's over 35yrs in a car not used for 10yrs.

The media could not be loaded. This product really does work! Before, it sounded so muddy and quiet, now it's as clear as a bell with full stereo separation. My only complaint is that the bottle of liquid is hard to squeeze, in fact the top popped off and I lost a quarter of the liquid before it worked properly, which is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5

Echoing what some other reviews have said, I can remember when these kits were cheap to buy, and this now seems pretty expensive.But it definitely works really well. I'm slowly rescuing (capturing to computer) a load of old cassettes, and after doing quite a lot of these, the cassettes started playing really dark and muffled. One run through with this, though, and everything is back to nice and clear. Easy to use, too.

Well packaged. Chemical was bottled in two spray bottles. Secured so that they did not leak. Cassette was well constructed and did a good job on cleaning my cassette player heads and drive system. Good value . I would recommend this item.

It works like a charm. Haven't use my tape player in some time. Hooked it up, used the cleaner I ordered & it plays great. No garble sounds now. 😊

I repair old cassette decks and portable tape players. Even if the belts and circuits are working, sometimes the sound is still bad due to buildup on the playback / recording head and pinch roller. This cassette tape cleaner has worked well for me many times in this situation. I do use more than the recommended amount of liquid on the cleaning tape - 7 or 8 drops instead of the recommended 5 - and I run it through at least twice - once on both sides. I have used this on at least 10 cassette decks so far, and I've only used 1/3 of one bottle of the liquid (comes with two bottles) - so this will last a long time. Good value!
