This will be great for traveling in the truck or to put in an overhead bin on the plane. I’m not sure I would check it w my suitcase.

This is my first cowboy hat carrier/storage box and wow, it’s beautiful! I love the Navy color! It’s extremely strong and sturdy and comes with everything you need and more! The interior is quite roomy and could accommodate several different types of larger hats. Its hard case is extremely rigid, so it will protect your hat in storage and/or during travel. It has a soft interior and includes a foam piece for the brim to prevent deformation. It also comes with an ID card holder and elastic luggage handle strap and can be worn as a backpack, sling bag or carried by the soft rubber handle. This is a definite YES!

This is a much larger size than the previous one that I ordered, which is great for traditional-sized hats. It should fit your cowboy hat unless you have something just outrageously large. If you do have a hat that doesn't fit this container then now you're just showing off. :-)

This is a very nice hat box, perfect for storing or traveling with a cowboy hat. The box is plastic (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate - EVA) which is hard and strong to protect the hat from damage and to keep duct off of it while storing. There's a fabric-like texture on the exterior which is attractive. There's a two-way zipper on the circumference that allows the hat case to be opened clam shell like. Included is a foam spacer to be used with hat that have a dipping brim, this keeps pressure off the front of the brim while being stored. Also included is a bag tag and strap to carry the hat box backpack style or over the shoulder. Overall, I like this hat box and it has my recommendation.

This is actually my third one that I have gotten and just love them. So I decided to get color matching with my sombreros Brown, pearl and black (blue). This cases are simply amazing; they are very sturdy, solid and big enough to hold an adult sombrero. Comes with a shoulder strap, hand strap, but also comes with an elastic on the back which makes it very easy to set it up on a roller luggage

Very nice, durable cowboy hat box. Great for storage and for travel.
