TLBTEK Backlight Keyboard Replacement Compatible with HP ProBook 450 G8 455 G8 650 G8.ZBook Power G7,ZHAN 66 Pro 15 G4 Laptop （with Backlight）

I ordered this as a direct replacement for my HP Zbook Fury G7 hoping to be able to address the rub-off on some of my keys. It fits as expected, but HP made it such a pain to work on. I've removed the keyboard before, when upgrading the RAM (again, HP, why?), but a few weeks ago I really started noticing that the keys had started scrubbing off, and that I was getting the keyboard backlight shining through. When I'm using the dock, I can't see it. But I was in the field for so long, using the laptop on construction job sites, that wear and tear caught up.This was a direct replacement for the keyboard itself. It took me about 45 minutes, start to finish, to get it changed out. HP did not do anyone any favors with the Fury design. I encountered one or two issues that could have been the keyboard or could have been HP. When looking at the two (old and this) keyboards side by side there was a slight deviation in one area that I did catch on. Having looked beforehand, I knew it was possible, and I'd already started considering the ways to work with it.The keys feel good. They're as responsive as the original. The ribbon to connect the keyboard was the same length (and just as much fun to try to work with). Overall, if I need to replace another keyboard, I'll be looking at TLBTEK as a potential manufacturer.

I saw this and a family member wanted a keyboard that was backlit so I chose this not realizing it is a PART for your keyboard. It's not a full keyboard. So if anyone is like me, realize what you're getting is just the top part of a keyboard. I can't say if it works or not because LOL I didn't realize what I was ordering was only a part. I don't think we have anything it will work with. I've left it at 5 stars as I don't think my misunderstanding should cause it to be rated differently and you'll have to look at other reviews for if you're wanting the part. However, I did think I should leave a review in case someone else is trying to quickly shop for a keyboard and this keeps them from making my same mistake!
