My daughter is loving this, she’s had a bunch of other adventures calendars over the past years, everything from legos to play dough but she has enjoyed this one the most. The chalk substance is a little hard to break into but that is part of the fun. The stones aren’t bad, however 1 of the days was empty, she smashed all the chalk and sifted through but wasn’t any stone! Was a little disappointed but laughed and still had fun searching for it

I got this advent calendar for myself and I thoroughly enjoyed opening my daily gem. I'm pretty sure a few pieces are merely colored glass and various types of sandstone, but I didn't care, I was in it for the fun and now I have pretty rocks to put in my houseplants!

I am a super rock/gem need an have been rock mining for 3 years now. These rocks are very poor quality and the chalk they are in makes a mess then you use the flimsy hammer and chisel to get the stone out.The description says "24 different stones" however, I got 3 of the same stones, which means 2 of the ones being advertised as being included were not.

My son is very interested in rocks and was happy to get an advent calendar. I wish that there was something included that identified all the rocks so we know what we got. Also, the weak packaging combined with Amazon heavy things in the box caused it to smash and be misshapen when I got it.

The stones are really pretty and very polished and my granddaughter really enjoyed getting one every day. The only problem with them was that some of them were not labeled so she didn’t know what the stones was. They really should have all the stones labeled.
