Delicious hot chilli infused sesame oil. Addictive
Usually bought in tiny 1.11ml bottles this is the way to go. Refill from the big one. Amazing hot chilli imbued sesame oil. We live it!

Watch for prissy reviewers
Take the reviews complaining it's not pure sesame oil with a grain of salt. If you think you might have an allergy to one of the other oils in the blend, please check the ingredients. If you're just looking to buy high volume at a low price, you'll get some cheaper oils mixed in for bulk. The important thing is taste. I use this as a finishing oil or for dressings, so smoke point and other factors influenced by the oil mixture are not really an issue. It tastes good and it's got a great price. That's all that matters to me.

For The Price Of Five 1.1 oz Bottles, You Get 33 oz. Add To Dipping Sauce. Sesame Flavor With Heat.
If you already know what this chili oil is and use it regularly, get this economy bottle. It's @ $30 +/- on Amazon. Well worth the price. Most of us who use chili oil are familiar with the little bottle that contains 1.1 ounces. For the price of @ 5 of them, you get 33.1 ounces---6X more.No more guilt for using too much of the little bottle in one sitting. Now, I can bathe the GYOZAs with too much chili oil in the dipping sauce.I received my order on 10/01/2023. It has a "BEST BEFORE" date of 02/18/2025. I'll use it up well before that date...It's not necessary, but if you refrigerate it, it will store better/longer.If you don't refrigerate, store it like you SHOULD any other food/cooking oil. In a cool, dark place.Once the bottle is unsealed, the chili oil (any oil) stores best in an airless container, but that's not practical for most homes. Just store in a container that the oil has the least amount of exposure to air.If you're unfamiliar with this chili oil, it's what you find on the table at every standalone Ramen restaurant. (Not necessarily this brand.) It's used primarily in the dipping sauce for GYOZAs. Many people, including me, also add it to Ramen to give the soup more kick.At home, add it to instant cup-o-noodles for the kick and sesame flavor. This chili oil is used mostly to spice up the dipping sauces for pan fried, deep fried, or steamed foods like GYOZAs (dumplings), wontons, egg rolls (aka spring rolls), shumais, etc.(Here's a starting mixture for a dipping sauce: 1 part soy sauce, 1 part rice vinegar, add chili oil to your liking. Adjust proportions to taste. I add a lot of chili oil.)It's used often in Japanese and Chinese cuisines. In addition to some heat, you will definitely taste the sesame flavor. It's not burn-your-mouth hot, so you control how spicy to make it with how much you add.In addition to the heat, you definitely will taste the sesame flavor. After all, the major ingredient is sesame oil. So if you don't like the sesame flavor of sesame oil, this isn't for you.I think you'll like it. Try the 1.1 oz bottle if you're on the fence.

Get it!!!
I’ve used the small la yu bottles for so long and then came across this huge bottle on Amazon!!! I absolutely love the bigger size. I use this chili oil in almost all my cooking. I definitely suggest getting this especially if you’ve tried the smaller bottles!!!

Good chili oil.
The flavor was mild and tasted good. You only need a little bit to get the flavor and desired spiciness .

Spice up your food
Discovered la yu 20+ years ago while living in Japan. Flavors of chili oil and sesame oil add yum to your food. Use it while cooking or added to soy sauce for dipping.
