Just received and tried this out. Wasn’t sure if we’d still need safety gloves, but this does the job. A great safety grip to hold the oysters as we opened them. Felt secure that we wouldn’t slip and cut ourselves. Of course was only used this one time, but after several dozen oysters it still proved comfy & durable. Good size towel too. Wish it could be machine washed, but other than that it’s a great choice. Would purchase again and recommend

The cloth works so much better for me with oysters than the gloves because I have smaller hands. We used this three times recently and it washed up like new each time. My family liked so much that we ordered another one.

These cloths were used for shucking oysters and they absolutely get the job done. They're much more comfortable to use than gloves, and do a great job mitigating the risks associated with shucking oysters.

Smaller than anticipated. Simply put, it’s an over priced hand towel. What was I thinking!!

Works wonderfully, provides great grip on the shells while protecting my fingers from the edges. Also I slipped while shucking one of my oysters recently and the cloth kept my oyster knife from breaking skin. Great product, awesome company.

I'm a full time cook, love the shucker and the rag. Love how I can use the string on the rag to tie it to my bag after work. Also it is like it says, cut and stab proof. I still wear and recommend a real chainmail glove gor anyone doing this as a job like myself. The shucker has great weight to it and is one piece of metal, awesome handle and has already improved my shucking speed especially the curvature of the blade.
