Will this lock-set accept a 6-pin Schlage cylinder?

Hi and thank you for your inquiry. This lockset is actually supplied with a 6-pin cylinder but keyed only to 5. So you are able to rekey to a 6-pin key. The keyway is a Schlage-C keyway. I need a door handle that will stay locked on the outside even if you turn the lever on the inside to go out. Does this assembly do that?

If the thumbturn is depressed into the lever - it will remain locked. You also have an option to go with a Storeroom function, which can only be opened with a key from the outside and will always remain locked.
