These silver-bottomed bulbs work great in my overhead lamp.... no more eyeshine, no more staring into the bulb. Note that they are somewhat dimmer than the equivalent incandescent. Very happy with these as they are impossible to find in nearby stores.

Now, everytime I check the mirror I can look jaundiced! Whoops...

They shipped well, none broken even though the box was slightly damaged. Supposed to be the same brightness as the old regular LED bulbs I had in my old ceiling fan but they do put out much less light and it seems pretty yellow. I got them because I don’t like the regular LED shining in my face while I lay reading to my son and they definitely don’t blind me now! But I did leave one of the old bulbs in there (in the one that faces away from the bed) otherwise it would be too dark in his room, and it’s not even winter yet!

For the price, these lights are cool and dimmable. They give you the nice restaurant dining experience at home.

These bulbs were great until they started twitching, blinking and going out at around 6.6k hours of use. LED bulbs that claim to have a 20k hour lifespan dying at a third of that feels a little like planned obsolescence. I'll be buying another brand.
