Too small for the fish to bother with! (or so I thought) Second conatiner much better!
My canister did not contain flakes, it contained the small bits you might find on the bottom of a canister of flakes. So besides being too small for the cichlids to bother with, these "flakes" go uneaten and foul the water. Very disappointing.Edit: I'm adding a star to my review. I guess the fish needed to get used these flakes for now the fish are eating them. I'm still not happy with the size of the flakes but as long as the fish eat what they can find, I guess that's okay. .Edit2: I just noticed the container says 1.7 oz. not 1.8 oz.! Thought that was funny.Edit3: So I bought another container for my multis a year later. The flakes are definitely better sized than the first container I bought. The multis seem to like them. I've added a star to my rating.

Disappointed with Seachem Nutridiet Cichlid Flakes
I typically enjoy providing my Yellow Lab mbuna cichlids with a variety of food options to keep their diet interesting. Considering my positive experience with other Seachem products, I had high hopes for their Nutridiet Cichlid Flakes. However, I must admit that my expectations were not met, and I find myself disappointed with this particular product. After purchasing the flakes, I introduced them to my fish yesterday, and this marks the third attempt at feeding them. I purposely withheld any other food to ensure their appetite was not affected. Unfortunately, it seems that my fish either dislike the flakes or there is an ingredient they find unpalatable, as they continuously spit them out. I even captured a video (attached) that showcases the repetitive pattern of chasing, catching, and spitting out the flakes. This process repeats until tiny particles of the food are scattered all over.I must emphasize that my cichlids have never shown any issues with new foods in the past. They have readily consumed Xtreme Spirulina flakes and Tetra tropical flakes without hesitation. However, the same cannot be said for Seachem Nutridiet Cichlid Flakes.

My cichlids really love it
My Cichlids really loved this food. I did not have any problems with tiny or bits of flakes, just the opposite they were really big. Now at the bottom of the can, once it is almost done they are just bits, but that normal for all food. I would recommend trying it, I will be getting it again.
