I am very happy with this unit! It is very heavy duty and well built! The ratcheting mechanism is easy to use as you pull out the air hose. It is in my work area and gets worked hard and it has no problems holding up to the work! I would recommend!

Finding a self winding air hose reel that will take 100ft of air hose is not easy. I've had a manual one for 20 years that accepts 100ft of hose. I need 100ft for blowing out the sprinkler system, and reaching up the driveway to fill tires. In the winter, it is hard to get to the air hose reel with the snow blowers in the way. I can pull out the hose, but can't get back there to wind it back up. And being 20yo, it's still works, got my monies worth out of it.. but time to go, it's getting cranky. So are my knuckles with rewinding and how close the crank is to the wall of where it's mounted. The four negatives for the Goodyear reel.. Pricey. Heavy. Design to be sitting on the floor. No wall mounting consideration. Ok, but built well. I built a shelf out of 2x4's and plywood for it to sit on, at chest height. With a couple of eye bolts, strapped it in place so it wont pull off the shelf. Simple build and it holds the Reel's weight just fine. The rubber feet almost takes care of it slipping on the plywood, but not taking a chance, 1.75 for a strap at HD and a buck for a couple of eyebolts. It's above the snow blowers, easy to pull out, and the self winder is a dream. So far so great.. expensive but works great. When pulling out all 100ft, do not not work from the very end, but get back near the reel so as not to stress the entire hose with pulling out on the growing length of 100ft. You can feel the hose stretch. Pulling out 20-30ft from the very end, seems not to be a problem, get past 50ft, and want to get back to the reel and grab mid hose and start again. Same for releasing the ratchet spring. With all 100ft out, I walk the end back to the reel, and pull on the hose near the reel to release and guide the hose back onto the reel. The rollers work great, but considering the price, there should have been a leader that moves and layers the hose correctly as it rewinds, like you find on a $50 water hose reel. This was not that big of a consideration for me, and didn't stop me from buying it, but just saying at this price level.

This hose real is amazing. It works well and rolls up easily. I also like the fact that from the back of my garage i can reach the street with it. I don't have to hook up multiple hoses. Pro It winds up quickly and easily It is heavy enough to use all 100 feet and I don't have it mounted down. Comes with a lead/whip hose. Con Some would call this a con. If you want the hose to wind up neatly then stand at the hose real and guide it as it winds in. This hose real does not have a winding guide so I will wind back up into a mess if you don't guide it.

I wish it had an eyelet that moved back and forth to spool hose better. Doesn't always lock like it is supposed too. Over good quality and I like it more than a enclosed round spool

I wanted a 100ft air hose for my home use. This was overkill for what I needed, but it worked out well so far. Easy to roll up and seems like a good solid product. I like I do not have to mount to a wall and it is easy to roll back up when done. A 50ft was too short to reach the other cars at the end of the drive, so I need something long.

This is really awesome made reel for saving time! Mine is hooked up to the sprayer. Hose is sturdy. Length is sufficient for my needs. Quality of reel is high quality. Finally found one that can withstand heavy service.

The product overall is great. It is one of the few self standing hose reels and is great for a rental property where you can not mount to a wall. However, this one is defective. The locking mechanism does not touch or function and when the hose reels back in, it doesn’t guide so the hose stacks on top of itself it the same place.

Die Schlauchtrommel kam recht schnell bei mir an. Leider fehlte ein Gewindestück für den Anschluss an den Kompressor. Das Problem war aber gering. Schnell diesen Teil im Werkzeugmarkt geholt und fertig. (6,00 €) . Mir gefällt besonders die Automische Aufrollung. Beim Ausziehen bleibt die Trommel fix am Boden stehen. Sehr gute Qualität. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen. Der Preis ist günstig für ein Top Gerät. Bei diesem Kauf gibt es nichts zu bereuen. Also Leute : wer so etwas braucht , einfach zugreifen und bestellen. !!

+ Die Schlauchtrommel bleibt schön auf der Stelle stehen, wenn man den Schlauch herauszieht. + Schön leichtgänging - Die beigelegten Kupplungen / Anschlüsse passten nicht zum Schlauch (2x mit Außengewinde statt 1x Innen- und 1x Außengewinde an den Anschlussstücken)

Big upgrade from my last airline and I have it set up next to my compressor approximately 3 feet off the ground, I can honestly say that it works superbly well and hasn't given me any trouble at all, I did read other reviews about it but haven't encountered anything bad from it. Highly recommended 5 ⭐.
