The cap fits snuggly to the metal can. no leaking.

Great Value.... not a super tight fit, but very effective.
Especially for the price, a good deal. Doesn't fit my standard paint cans snug enough, like others say, you have to hold it, or risk a mess. I found it a little awkward/cumbersome, with with the paint can handle wanting to dislodge the lid. Overall though, kept can and work space clean, and works well as long as you keep pressure on lid when pouring.

Well they are a plasic cap that arrived on time.
These fit either plastic cans or maybe metal paint cans. I do not have plastic so cannot comment but on my older metal can does not fit too well. Seems to be designed fit inside the rim of the can and not in the groove where the old metal cap fit. It the can is not in pristine shape, be careful pouring from the new top. I suggest you order ONE and then others if it meets your needs.Happy painting.

Great paint spout for my 5 gallon paint
This was a great paint spot for my 5 gallon paint job so I don't need to open the humongous lid on top. I was able to just use a small opening on top to pour to paint that was needed for my roller. It was a little paint and I got into the thread of the spout. It works well.

excellent fit and reasonable price
fits perfectly on standard US gallon paint cans with no spillage in the inner groove. I like how I can flip the lid if I want to dip a brush and it has an inner edge to scrape off excess paint from the brush. buying more as I am using several colors at once.

saves paint
I got tired of expensive paint running down the can or using tape or the yellow ones that that don't stick to the rim of the can. These worked great and easy to clean with paint thinner and you waist not paint. For the price you cant beat it.

Fit is not universal.
Worked with Cabot 5 gallon plastic Container but not with a Cabot 5 gallon Metal one. The size of the opening in the Cabot 5 gallon metal Container appeared to be normal but was just a tad too small for the Spout to fit, even with significant force!
