The Manager's Guide to Distribution Channels

I bought this book to clarify information presented in my college channel and distribution textbook. Was I glad I did! The book presented channel and distribtution design in a clear, concise manner. The language is easy to understand and there are many illustrations to guide the new learner. I gained an understanding of this strategic topic quickly. This book should be a recommended supplemental book for introductory channel design classes!

If you are involved in or manage an indirect or direct sales organization I would suggest this book to you. It is not a traditional sales self help book, it is organized and extremely illustrative when it come to planning, setting up and managing a distribution network.

The book served it's purpose for the class I was taking. We had different PDF's for the class and we only used three chapter's from the book, so it didn't get alot of use.

As a channel manager who is eager to gain more practical knowledge, this book tells me a lot of practical methodology of managing distributors. It's a book with good balance of theory and practice, which is precisely what I need at this stage.

Excellent resource for channel management using distribution. I highly recommend this for new and old alike. Great process steps, great ideas.

In my opinion, this guide is very practical and can really help managers and companies selling goods through a distributor channel. Many other books are too theoretical for me as they provide only descriptive information instead of practical advice.
