Monster High Toy - Frights Camera Action Hauntlywood - Honey Swamp Deluxe Fashion Doll

Two of my nieces are absolutely Monster High mad at the moment - as with the majority of girls in their years at school. At first glance they may seem a little creepy but I must admit that if Monster High had been out and about when I was little then I would have actually liked dolls (well the Monster High ones anyway) and I am quite upset that I am far too old for them now! I have bought two of these Honey Swamp doll's now for each of nieces Birthday present's and they have both loved her as she is one of the newer Monster High Dolls out at the moment. The Hauntlywood range has recently come out and Honey Swamp was one of the very few dolls that neither of my nieces had. I couldn't resist having a quick peek at the doll before wrapping her and I told myself that "this was for purely checking that everything was included that should be....."! The Honey Swamp doll stands at around 27cm tall (29cm with her hair!) which seems to be the normal approx height for the MH Dolls. She comes with her hairband hat, earrings, fang belt and bracelet, swamp inspired dress, scaled shoes, video camera, claw-toothed clapboard that actually opens and closes, hair brush, doll stand and diary. She has green hair with light green streaks in and her arms, legs, elbows and wrists are jointed and fully poseable. Her skin is green and she has reptilian shaped eyes and a mouth full of little fangs. Despite her ferocious appearance Honey Swamp is a true Southern Belle from New Goreleans and is an aspiring cinematographer. She is the daughter of The Swamp Monster and she is 115 swamp monster years old. Honey is very sweet and polite mannered and is a perfectionist. Her and the rest of the Hauntlywood monsters are part of the Monster High: Frights, Camera, Action [DVD] [2013 ] new DVD that has recently come out. Honey is a really good quality doll with lots of extra accessories and especially good quality when compared with some of the more 'basic' models in the Monster High range. Now I just need to hope that my daughter likes Monster High when she grows up and that they are still popular so that I can play with the dolls and sets myself! Perfect for birthday present, love the curly hair

My granddaughter wanted this spooky doll for christmas. This is exactly what she asked for & the only place i could find it was Amazon. Although i haven't opened it i am thrilled with it. It looks exactly as depicted in the picture, was very reasonably priced, & she will love it. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

I received this yesterday on the 18/01/14 when I ordered it on the 25/12/13, but still a great price and the doll came with accessories, and it has great hair quality will be buying other characters!

Honey Swamp is the most beautiful doll I've ever seen my daughter recive.Ever time I see my daughter she's always playing with the doll.She's my favourite doll probaly out of all of my daughter's dolls. I would defietly recommend this doll and the post and packaging was incredible we only had to wait 2 days. My daughter was incredibly exited when it came.

Her hair is glorious. It's so soft and I'm looking forward to putting it in some puffy ponytails. While the very first thing you notice about Honey is her amazing hair, her entire design is filled with awesome little details. I love the vines going up her arms and legs and that her hands are slightly webbed. And did I mention that Honey herself is just beautiful? Of course, her shoes are absolutely fantastic. I'm not a fan of pink as a rule but these are too incredible to not love. The filming accessories are fantastic for play. The only thing I don't love about Honey is her dress. I do think the top is just darling but I dislike the black feathery stuff under the skirt. Also while I usually don't complain about how short Monster High dresses are, this one is going a bit too far. If I press the skirt flat it barely reaches past her crotch. This is definitely one of those cases whee I would have liked to get a two piece as I could imagine half a dozen outfits featuring the dress' top.
