Can the money clip be taken off?

Yes, it can. Carefully run a flathead screw driver down each side of the money clip. It is tacked in with double-stick tape. A few passes and wiggle it out where the open seam is. You should have to manipulate the clip too much to remove it

How many cards, including ID can this wallet hold?

I believe there is 10. Lots of slots for cards!

I have had mine for almost four months. And yes, they pockets are STILL snug. I'm just used to gripping a little tighter when pulling cards out. Personally, that's one of the things I like. I'm not worried about anything falling out. This is a SOLID built wallet.
