I used this kit to repair a crack on my kayak. I ordered HDPE rods from the kayak manufacturer hoping for a color match (not quite the same shade). The rods I received were too large a diameter to use the tip that has a feed, which would have saved me some time and effort. The wire mesh from this kit made this repair successful.

I had never welded plastic so i was skeptical about first time success... BUT... MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. the radiator in our SUV split the top tank about 5 inches ... after working with this kit for about 20 min ... we now have NO leak. YEA... and I thank GOD for the miracle of showing me this Kit.

The feed's a little tricky but I think this is more in my usage than the actual tool. My only wish is that it had a dial to set a larger temp range but it's a pretty great kit for the money. Give it time to heat up and have patience and it'll do a great job.

Just as listed and expected. I wanted a smaller tool to get in tighter spaces. So far, it has worked great.

My grandson needed this for some special projects. He thought that it worked great and helped get into some tighter spaces. He was very pleased with the performance.
