These Vanhench 0.5 mm black gel pens are surprisingly good. The ink flows smoothly right from the first stroke and dries fast enough to avoid smudging, which I appreciate since I write quickly. The lines are clean and consistent, and the pens feel comfortable to hold for long notes or journaling. I really like that the set comes with multiple pens because I tend to misplace them, so having backups is perfect. The quality is better than many name-brand pens I have bought in the past. If you need reliable everyday gel pens for work, school, or journaling, this pack is a great value and performs beautifully.

I’m particular about the pens I use and these pens are smooth and excellent quality. I love them so much I give them out to friends as gifts :)

Very sleek, very comfortable pens. I love how the ink looks and the size but it’s a bit difficult to get a consistent flow of ink when writing. You have to hold the pen at an angle and can’t write too fast. Only takes a few seconds to dry and no smear. Honestly, I don’t think I’d choose to buy these again though, I’d rather buy sharpie gel pens. These are nice when they write but it’s too tricky for the cost.

The pens are beautiful and write smoothly. I would have preferred blue ink, but these are very nice. They were packaged so that they wouldn't rub each other, and special care kept them in pristine condition. They didn't improve my handwriting, but you can't have everything. I would repurchase these if they are on sale, especially if they have blue ink. Blue ink is a quick check that tells me if the paper was photocopied (in black), and I prefer blue ink. They would be nice to add to a donated backpack to tell the recipient they are special.

Got these for our guestbook Bible table at our wedding because of the colors and thin line look. They were perfect, they didn’t bleed or tear the pages and they didn’t smear as people wrote! Being left-handed means that finding pens that don’t smear while writing is very important to me so I was very pleased finding that these dry quickly to avoid smears. I will continue to use these until they stop working and then I will probably be back for more because of the price and ease!
