A lifesaver!!!!
This product saved our company. The MacBook Air Pro just died suddenly and could not be powered back on. We had crucial and time sensitive data on the ssd drive. This product was instantly working the minute we plugged it in and we were able to retrieve all our data. We could finally breathe again.

Only works with late2012 MacBook Pro SSD.
Great adapter, I was able to connect using this, the SSD from my dead MacBook Pro to the SATA adapter and then my new computer and recover all data.

Great product
I had to retrieve data from a non-working Macbook with a very odd SSD. This adapter fit it exactly and I was then able to connect it to a standard SSD fitting.Price was right. It would otherwise have been impossible.Arrived ahead of schedule too,

But it works and its in my MacMini sever working great with its secondary 512gb SATA SSD
cheap china adapter but it gets the job done. Worked perfectly on my spare 512gb Macbok SSD. Im seeing ~300 MB/s write but thats really going to depend on the drive your using not this adapter. It was really too long so I couldn't fit it into anything. I ended up deciding to use the drive in my MacMini Server second HDD bay (Quad core unit with no optical). It was too long. Since there was no circuitry on the end (screw side) I snapped it off. I also had to snap off about 1/4" of the SSD (Again, no circuitry to damage, just board and mounting nut.) I used electrical tap to hold it down. yup, lol. But it works and its in my MacMini sever working great with its secondary 512gb SATA SSD.OS X sees it as a native Apple SSD too.

Works as expected
Had a MacBook Pro that is of age from the year 2012 that wouldn’t boot. In order to extract the data, I had to get this and I am glad it’s in stock. Loads up without issue like a drive using Paragon APFS on Windows and on macOS.
