Seems like an excellent full spec light but gets pretty hot
As part of the Amazon Vine Program and as a fish and plant enthusiast I put this on top of my 150 gallon guppy tank which has a ton of plants in it and I hardly ever require water changes because I keep it so heavily planted, most of the time I just do water top offs and only do a major water change about once a year, if you can believe that! The secret to a maintenance-free tank I have found is having an overabundance of full spectrum light, although I have ordered some in the past with this large number of LEDs with high intensity and the heat sinks just get too hot for my comfort level in terms of being possible fire or safety hazards. This one I was able to hang with a braided metal cable and it's holding up fairly well and after a few days I have noticed that the LED definitely does penetrate its light deeply into the tank so although I have no scientific data about the PAR or other light wavelength information aside from what came in the Box, do your research and I think this light would be excellent for folks who want good plant growth and also want to keep their tank maintenance at a minimum. One thing I would definitely say is that keep an eye on the heat sink and make sure that you use a stout or double braided stainless steel wire and keep it at least a foot or foot and a half away from an open top tank so that water does not Splash on the LEDs. I would also be cautious if you have a glass top because it will definitely cause algae growth and water evaporation due to the Heat and calcium build up which will block the light and hence the whole point of the LED light. I'm not sure how much wattage this draws since I've only had it for a few days but the plants like red root floaters have responded well as well as the dreaded duckweed and my frog bit are loving it! Again do your due diligence about your lighting needs and make sure that you attend first and foremost to safety issues, especially if you have cats or dogs that like to climb around the tank or children who might accidentally touch this extremely hot fixture. My cat learned very quickly not to go near it! I hope this helps people who are aquatic plant enthusiasts and I would definitely recommend it for high growth situations, especially with densely planted tanks like mine. I can't speak to the longevity of it. My fingers are crossed though!

Bright but Short lifespan, died within 30 days
This bulb died within the first month of use, without being on for more than 8 hours at a time. I got my money back, but I wish I had bought a better light instead.

Colorful Spotlight
I used this spotlight bulb to enhance my 60-gallon freshwater aquarium. Overall it is a good product with a few things to keep in mind for those looking to use this with their aquariums. The first major thing I noticed is that this lightbulb definitely acts like a spotlight, or in other words, it has a narrow area that it actually lights up. If you are like me and have a large aquarium, I would recommend if you are going to use this that you buy at least four or five of these. The other major drawback is that these lights pretty much require that you have some sort of bracket or holder that keeps them in place. Overall the colors are lovely, as it has a variety of colors that give a very nice effect under water. I also love that the light has a heat sink around it to keep it from getting too hot.Would I buy it again? Probably not, but not because it isn't a good product, just because it isn't exactly what I am looking for.

Basic led light for aquarium!
This works great for coral, the color looks amazing. The cable is really long and the switch works just fine.I ended using a timer to control the on/off of the lights. I wish it had an arm to hook it to the aquarium. It is not super powerful but the angle of the lenses are really narrow, so be careful to don't burn your corals.

VERY BRIGHT but probably not truly full spectrum
As stated by the manufacturer, this light will keep plants alive in an aquarium but that's probably the most that you should expect from it. If you look at the photos, you can see that there is only one red LED and red light is by far the most efficient for photosynthesis. On the other hand, there are 8 blue LEDs. I know the expectation with aquariums is pure blue water so it seems like aesthetics are probably driving this design choice. As a grow light, this is very inefficient. Almost all of the energy consumed is used in producing blue, purple, white, and even green light, with only a small portion of the white light being useable for photosynthesis. I say purple here because I was doubtful about the claim that it produces UV light at all and tested it with some solder mask that cures with UV light. Normally, a few seconds of exposure to even a fairly weak UV source is enough to make it cure. I left this light shining on a thin layer of solder mask for 10 minutes and it didn't even start to thicken. It literally had no effect on the UV solder mask. I thought maybe this had to do with the wavelength of LED used but the wavelength specified in my UV flashlight that I normally use to cure solder mask is the same as the wavelength specified in this light. For this reason, I tend to doubt the claim that this is a full spectrum light. The reason I tested this has to do with a few potential use cases. Although this is marketed as an aquarium light, some aquariums might have reptiles (turtles, tortouses, lizards) or amphibians that need a good source of UV light to produce vitamin D and stay healthy. I prsonally wouldn't trust this light beyond its aesthetics. So far, I've mainly harped on the negatives but there is at least one potential positive: IT'S REALLY FREAKING BRIGHT. I know you're not supposed to stare directly at it but even indirectly, it produces tons of light. I can't even imagine an aquarium that you could keep in your own home that would not be fully illuminated using this single light. So if that's what you're after, you're in luck. I could definitely see this being used as a primary light source in a large aquarium while using smaller lights to supplement more essential light frequencies.Overall, it's not very useful for my relatively small aquarium but might be useful for larger applications.
