The grommets are great for keeping them together with clips
They've held up for over a year of weekend conservetion work. Very impressed. I have friends who've now purchased their own. They aren't really water resistant anymore but I wear nitrile under them in the winter anyway.

Great gloves
The dye smell is strong but it will fade after you sweat in them a bit. Work in them, you'll be fine.

Good gloves
Nice well made glove. Put water repellant wax on them, after several months of use around the yard they are holding up well.

Good for my purposes.
I use leather gloves for stopping parts that are spinning at high speeds (don't like to do it by hand, and in many cases that's not possible). I prefer leather because it is very resistant to friction and wear compared to other materials, and it’s also smooth. These will last significantly longer than your typical non-leather work gloves, by quite a bit, when it comes to friction and wear. They are typical leather gloves, not thick but not too thin, and they have a suede palm section. The sizing is what you’d expect. Like most leather gloves you’ll probably have some gap in your fingertips when buying your normal size. If you don’t want that, size down.
