New Gate Lockbox Single Hole Weldable Steel 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" Unpainted

I was able to modify a gate frame to accept this box. I have wooded posts so the stop flange had to be removed so the deadbolt lined up in the middle of the post. If you are handy it is an affordable way to add a deadbolt to your gate.

TIG welded cleanly to existing metal gate. Worked fine with a Kwikset double-keyed deadbolt, no issue with the screw threading).

Purchased (2) lock boxes that states 1-1/2” thick and they are not. Both lock boxes are about 1/8” under.

Well built, and true to size. Will buy again from this seller.

1 3/8”, not 1 1/2”. I’ll figure out how to make it work, but would be nice if it was as advertised.
