I got this for my grandson and he played with it all summer long.And enjoyed playing with it.It floated very well across the wanted.Another one so i'm going to order him another for christmas this year

Buyer Beware
My son received this boat as a Christmas present and it worked out of the box. He hadn’t used it over the winter, but now took it to the lake to play and the boat won’t run. The batteries are fully charged and we’ve gone through all of the connections. The lights go on, but nothing else on the boat works. We are very disappointed and frustrated with the poor quality.

This boat is FAST
Took this to the local lake early in the morning before the swimmers, put it in my kayak, and paddled to a secluded part of the lake so I wouldn't bother anybody. I was surprised at how fast this boat flies! Forget putting in a pool, unless perhaps you have an Olympic sized one. I managed to flip it over upon hitting a log just under the water, and not only did it not damage the boat, which was going top speed at the time, but when it landed upside down, I was able to flip it back upright by tweaking it quickly left and right till it righted itself.By the way, depending on where you live, you may find it hard to find a place to legally put this in. Most lakes in state parks here in the Northeast prohibit rc boats, planes and cars in the main public areas. Some public lakes here in PA have a designated place on the lake where you CAN take your rc toys.At any rate, I can't say enough about how much fun this one is. It is not the only rc boat I have, but definitely the one with the highest quality. Comes with two beefy batteries that allow over 30 minutes of boat time, depending on how aggressive and fast you run it. Definitely five stars.
